An agreement to end the NFL lockout is apparently on track and just a few steps away from allowing this season to start the players association taking the weekend.
To consider a new collective bargaining agreement so could we see players back on the field.

And they could vote on whether or not to accept a tentative agreement of the owners that the owners approved last Thursday now they are expected to vote.

Say an agreement has been reached so we'll see what happens in just a few hours if the committee votes today and if they approve the deal and recommend ratification.
Then the 32 team representatives would vote.
If they say yes and if all goes well the four month old lockout could finally end -- -- to training camps and team facilities could be open by mid week but that's by no means guaranteed at this point.
But -- things seem to be on track now the owners reached an agreement last week dividing up the nine billion dollars in annual league revenues with 53%.

The players said this would not be a deal breaker but it did apparently delayed things a little bit and time's running out you know pre season play is set to begin August 11.
And the hall of fame game that was supposed to be played August 7 has already been canceled.
No other cancellations would be needed though if the vote comes soon and only a few teams would have delayed the start of their training camp.
This is by the way the first NFL work stoppage since 1987.
