The ATF knew these were turning up at crime scenes.
Yet they continue the operation I mean that kind of recklessness.
Endangered the safety of a lot of Americans and yet the people who kept on running this operation.

Well look the thing is that this was a foolish operation from the beginning because once they -- guns went across the Mexican border.
They could no longer Trace that you know they could do that in the United States they couldn't do it in Mexico so the operation from the very beginning.
Was not good and up in the kind of prosecutions that they seemingly want it.
That seems like and it seems like a misadventure from the get go an unfortunate one that turned out rather badly.
Yeah I know that that is definitely true and yet the administration just doesn't want to admit that is -- wrong hence the promotions -- these three ATF agent.
Well this is obviously so in the headlines and so everyone will be following this to see how it plays on and unfortunately there in Mexico City.
I don't know honestly if there's a tie between this story in that horrible.

They did just the point -- that it just talks about being ruthlessness of those drug cartels that are.

Is there is there any sense at all that we are making progress in our dealings with the Mexican authorities and that -- and that they are making progress in their war on.
On drugs this is just I mean it it it seems like there's such a -- a high level of corruption and dysfunction I mean.
And this story about the gun tracing just seems to feed into that -- and it does kind of make you wonder how in the world we could have thought it would work.
Yeah I I don't think they're making a lot of progress you have to remember that one of the reasons these drug cartels are sold.
Unfortunately efficient what they're doing is they have a lot.
Members former members of the Mexican military who have defected them taking with them.
