And then after we got married Tracy my wife was a first grade teacher before becoming a stay at home mom and we want her to be able to to stay at home so over the course of the -- she worked we've -- pay down our debt.
And now she's -- -- stay at home mom for seven years and we have two girls and still do -- and how much he's black -- What do you look debt free Danny do you have any -- -- did you have and do either do you carry credit cards are you completely debt free.
I'm completely -- I -- -- -- -- right except for the house steady is that right.
Yes -- Heather what about you.
I have one credit card that I am still paying off and say that so far the prices ahead -- He came through.
I -- -- have a new life you have any child as well and you're -- -- a new career so what was it what was the turning point -- He turned that around.
You know the biggest change that I made Jenna was how I spent my free time.
In the past -- my free time I would consume.
I would go to the -- go out to be so I'm -- -- with girlfriends.
Here in Southern California you can drive to Las Vegas for the drive to Vegas for the weekend and spend ridiculous amounts of money.
Now I produce in my spare time IA.
Transplanted a bunch of the backyard into a garden got into garden -- -- cooking.
I wrote a book stealing homes.
Just an overall change in my mentality of how it's been my free time not indulging myself but creating things and ultimately it's been more rewarding.
And Danny you can probably relate to that is about it with your book is simple book -- financial -- down.
What is the number one thing you didn't tell us today the -- remember when change that you think we can make -- To help -- -- spend more wisely.
Realizing where your money is going that to -- is the number one reason why people get into trouble as I've talked to people they say they don't have any money.
Yet they have a new pair of shoes on -- new coach -- the newest iPhone.
And I -- to say you do have the money -- just choosing to spend it in this way so I think tracking.
Where your money is going is the number one key to start off with because.
Let's face it there's two ways to make more money either they have to get -- higher paying job which it's possible but a little more difficult right now that it was five years ago there or be cut back on what you're spending money on.
