And not by and joining me on that now to talk about another topic is actually edit your Samantha -- to this segment today.

A robbery near the US travel editor of the lonely planet today we found it.

Apple only lonely planet is that the Twitter handle right now hey I'm glad you don't -- -- how I have to -- -- the national passport -- I wasn't aware that that's coming up and the lonely planet has released 1000.

Ultimate its sites where -- should.

And maybe another bucket.

Lists and yes and it's new book is also -- on I've had a thousand -- sites places around the world -- can think about to dream about trips to go to -- and to get there.

Got to have a passport right September 17 sexually national passport -- it was going to be in April but there was the government shut down and so they postponement to September.

I can't see it what does that mean that He.

It's a Saturday that the passport agencies open you can go in and apply for a passport makes -- eastern they're trying to get more people to get passports -- sometimes people around the world think that Americans never travelman like 510% of Americans have passports and that's not true in fact in the last -- years.

The numbers of Americans the passports of double.

And so now about home about 13 -- is not as many as He -- -- in some countries so IdeaPad in the past which you can you can go to some of these places are in the book Kennedy's dream places and it's a once in a lifetime to the Taj -- mention.

I then there's there's the Great Wall of China that Eiffel Tower whatever your dream may be besides you can go see them but you have to have -- passport to get there.

I want this big black as they haven't traveled a whole life and the only place that may receive Italy and what I took that trip with some girlfriends of mine -- -- -- -- -- And I swore after that I was going to travel because it really was -- fun and exciting time to TM experience that.

But then I haven't -- so you gotta go to some of the places at Michigan State.

Well -- we kind of divide things up and different things and one of them I like to look at this so called tourist traps places that a lot of people go to you'll see a lot of tourism or some hassle or some souvenir stands choice kind of on the go to.

And -- ones that are really worth it and there's endless list how many of them Taj Mahal -- -- the great ruins and in the Andes but one of my favorites architectural on this fantastic in Cambodia.

And it just kind of tourist trap the some people don't know about his -- -- -- and Cambodia this is a real.

Indiana Jones experience this.

About 600 years ago these temples which is like dozens of square miles area thousands of temples -- just abandoned by the America people there.

And they were so called rediscovered some of them are still and use for the French found in the nineteenth century.

And they've become a massive tourist site Campbell is very affordable Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie was found there.

Can't see these old kind of temple's just overcome by these giant trees the jungle is almost as re claiming -- back and strangling the -- It really feels like you're and I Indiana Jones movie and that is so worth it if you go off season during the rainy season Cambodia it's affordable and you can beat the crowds.

And it's actually -- the American and a brand and -- monsoons because it only rains a little here and there she might get wet but then most that they are fine.

Guess that's the thing right especially with the state of the economy that we've been talking about a lot you should buy things are affordable for families to do or portable business yourself.

And that needs to be you know big priority so -- that is going in off season.

Is one idea.

This is a place it's also just very affordable anyway and a lot of southeast Asia is that way if you're thinking -- going to Europe a lot of people go to places like Paris Italy fantastic places you can go -- over all your life that.

One city is really risen last 1520 years is Prague and and the Czech Republic formally Czechoslovakia.

Which was a better -- -- -- But it's old town is like this 5600 year old is like a trip back five or 600 years is a fantastic area everyone goes it has become a little bit of a I don't wanna say tourist trap -- it's there's a lot of people there.

But that doesn't matter I mean there's the fantastic pedestrian bridge called Charles bridge if you go -- -- you beat the crowds.

There's the old town square and it's very -- to the check here is the best beer in the world -- -- you can go to these old beer halls there like that.

Bill Clinton was taken to and things are -- some tourists He wants but there's some real real deal ones.

If you remember that you can access video never terrorists apart just came out about 51 years ago this is like a post card for old town of about Prague.

And they are way ahead of their time is just so beautiful there's -- -- Jewish cemetery with all these 121000 tombstones kind of like -- He's kind of leaning on each -- very very atmospheric Franz Kafka was there -- a beautiful place that is itself the town itself old town this model and besides -- all about.

You had any sites.

Here in America unless I was certain my pension money -- -- you don't have to go far from right here to find that you have.

I mean it's you know it's it's it really and that's where He began you know for new York city -- -- can talk about you know a lot of people we make fun Times Square when it comes here because at Times Square it is an alternate site got to -- Times Square night you know because it is it is an icon of -- of really the world itself I mean I think.

Another one that you would talk about -- the Grand Canyon I mean like lot of the first.

Road trips you know when we start the route 66 people were taking that specifically because they wanted to see some of the national parks in the west of the United States.

And grand and the Grand Canyon is ultimately one of the -- sites in the world you have to see and you can really see again and again I've always wanna see from the north around you know you if you drive.

Cool -- way to get around of the north memo that you beat the crowds.

And I -- -- walls and vacation and they go I just take a quick looking around on.

That's for all the crowds target if you go over to the north grandmother that itself is like saying it completely mirror image of the Grand Canyon --
