Fox News election alert now on new fallout from two big wins for the GOP.
First there was New York where voters in Queens and Brooklyn.
In New York are sending a Republican to represent them in congress for the first time since the roaring twenty's.
Bob Turner beating out David weapon there.
In Nevada another special election with the GOP coming up the winner.
Mark candidate trouncing his democratic challenger Kate Marshall winning by more than twenty.
Percentage points and -- validate the newly elected congressman from Nevada is my guess now sir thank you so much for being here congratulations to you.

This is a district that was expected to go Republican this He has been held by Republicans since the first election in there in that district in 1982.
The national and state Democrats did not bother to spend any money on the race -- the Democrats have come out today and said this win enough viewers.
Doesn't mean anything in terms of the national outlook on politics.

Well I'll tell you -- Megan if you're looking towards 2012.
With this -- in right on the doorstep of it for the Dean Heller.
And Shelley Berkley race and you look at a -- in the presidential election -- it means a lot because we did very well in washoe county which is a Bellwether county.
For Nevada and so I'm sure there are they're checking their hold cards right now trying to figure out what they're gonna do fourteen months from now to get to get that northern Nevada back.
Okay -- that even though Republican voters outnumber Democrats by about 30000.

In this district.
In the 2008 presidential race President Obama.
Almost beat John McCain out there He He loss this district by just 89 votes so the President Obama was very very competitive.
Which is why some people -- now saying the fact that you defeated the Democrat in this district so handily.
And forgive me -- I think the latest numbers I had what what -- -- you tell me.
They're they're all just shy of 42 point -- -- -- -- folks are saying how does -- swing from President Obama almost beating the Republican there.
To you with that sort of a decisive victory now.
I'll tell you of people in the -- our our very tired of the way things have been going.
They don't think the answer to the question is that the federal government needs to get bigger.
They have tried it the administration's way and the majority leader's way and it isn't working and they want a new plan and new representation.
What is it when you were talking to folks in your district and I asked this -- Bob Turner an hour ago when you're talking to folks in your district including Democrats.
What were they telling you matters to them and YE do you believe.
Democrats to the extent they.
Voted for you instead of your democratic opponent did so.
Well -- you know that -- for fiscal responsibility that that definition may be different for everybody.
But bar and 42 cents of every dollar a -- that equals the the gross domestic product.
A state that leads the nation in unemployment.
They're getting absolutely no comfort when you talk about the private sector.
Looking for predictability and stability they're getting no comfort from the present administration.
And it's administrative policies and its fiscal policies so they want that to stop that's what they were talking about.
Now President Obama easily won Nevada when He was running against John McCain.
He won it -- I think it was a twelve point victory.
Back then and many great many Democrats believe back in no way that that was a sign that your state Nevada was trying to blow.
But this is gonna become a blue state that the Democrats can count on including in 2012.
What do you think now.
I think this is a very good sign for the Republican presidential contenders.
Matter fact I spoke with the Mitt Romney -- called me this morning to congratulate me and and I can say that that camp.
Is very excited about the returns last night.
Based on what the president did here in 2008.
And they're looking forward to Nevada as a battleground state that can very well be read and 2012.
