As the president has consistently said He does not believe that Social Security is a driver of our near and medium term deficits.
That was White House spokeswoman any -- -- in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.
Gentlemen.
And David Mercer and -- O'Connell the question it is that we saw from.
Wall Street Journal today that the White House and in other Schwartz is -- White House is basically confirmed.
That when the president rolls out his deficit plan.
He's not going to be taken on entitlement issues and any serious substantial way they've taken a lot of stuff off the table now somewhere in Washington.
Kirk symbols is like weaving into.
His lunch plate -- just cannot believe.
That after.
He volunteered to serve on this bipartisan deficit commission and they came out of all of these recommendations.
All and I've been listening to moderate Democrats on this show and in private.
For months now say -- you just wait.
President Obama's gonna come through the -- deficit reduction package and he's not now going to duties not gonna deal was a security at all.
And on the issue of Medicare it's becoming very clear that the only thing he's gonna do is basically say I already passed -- health care law.
There are provisions in there that allow us to save money let's expand on those and build that up.
Why is -- you were president our president David Mercer.
Taking on this issue.
Emphasizing our president yeah.
-- He is taking on the issue and He did so in the debt ceiling debate.
Where we have the formation of a super committee to come up.
With the types of cuts that are necessary including but -- tax reform including entitlement.
And if they do not see their way to those 'cause we know there triggers that will give poll.
That will cut discretionary spending both military and or.
Otherwise.
And so that is in play now while that is in play this president our president is focused on job creation.
And using a combination.
Close infrastructure development or -- rebuilding our schools and or roads and built into our bridges.
In addition to tax cuts.
To extend into the middle class so that we created demand so the corporation CNET uptick in demand and then start hiring in addition to that.
-- I've heard.
I have watched in amazement as President Obama has lacked.
Your party off the hook like of the Jillian times.
By not.
Taking that bold clintonian moved to the center our -- like this -- rock.
I watched in 2008.
Was fast senate seat He knew when there was an opening their new is that we -- to -- to the left or right of an opponent be -- Hillary Clinton.
Or John McCain He was nimble fleet footed He was.
People credit him -- a great speaker for his success I credit him that He had great instincts in 2000 and He really knew windy windy go and when not to go.
He could -- wiped out.
Your team a bunch of times by taking a bold step to the center but he's consistently refuse to do -- aren't afraid at some point he's gonna let you guys out of this sucker punch.
No accident.
Okay.
Because welcomed the realities of very -- world map I'm seniors while meals for news.
Obama was being held hostage by its own presidential ambitions when a second term.
By his own party's president and our ambitions to hold the senate.
Look He gets sort of He -- knows aren't -- discussions between banner that He recognizes that entitlement reform.
The social security and Medicare is being done and we -- -- -- -- the -- with the deficit.
That said He knows that by holding onto it OK in case nothing gets done whatsoever on the jobs front revenge for the traders He visited to hold a car -- particularly if you face it Rick Perry -- rip currents are strong and secondly.
He knows that He wants to pass his jobs plan.
He can't get it through and He gives it up on the deficit -- He has -- -- -- -- his hand to play with his own party to push his jobs -- -- and that's really really are.
He's actually being held hostage by.
His own -- his own presidential ambitions.
What is doesn't go bold ever this is what I've been watching the president He He had but -- -- just tired he'd like -- hunkered out from the first year in office I think he's being responsive to the party and.
Two Americans in general is pushing middle class Americans and now it's not a matter of tacking to the center attack into the right exactly know what it is finding a path to solutions.
For the American middle class to have jobs.
And to create demand for -- to get back on the road to economic prosperity and in so doing.
You know He is actually.
Without jobs plan and his joint session is his -- to -- in the joint session of congress.
He laid -- a bold vision -- that we're now waiting to see what -- does today on and I think they're gonna come to the table and you know I think you -- I've read somewhere -- was recommended that the -- Blair house after they took their respective plans and I'll -- on Paper felt -- OK okay we have had a chance to during the show and -- -- -- -- -- walking out but they got close -- She -- 400.
Billion dollars in tax -- more or raising of of revenues that have been a walking away but I think -- Michigan coming back again and again it's trying to not taxes sooner right or left it is to calm down there half where there are solutions bringing everybody together like and they would Bill Clinton would have done.
And he's gone -- -- -- it right into the -- center and He would be within Republicans in the house right now you have very effective argument.
I watch the president go to swing states.
He has dire job approval these quinnipiac numbers in Virginia that have -- with 54% disapproval in Virginia which was one of his shining moments of the 2008 campaign not just winning Virginia but many big.
-- 54% disapproval 40% -- -- he's still on the matchup zone with Republicans on.
Then I believe him yet Britain and our famous -- happen and we have -- -- point 66%.
Growing rise and so right okay so this here here's the question.
44 Republicans when they get down to the issue.
How much to oppose President Obama isn't there the danger here that.
As Obama looks very weak and we just heard from congresswoman Albers.
The basically saying I'm not afraid of him one -- now one iota because he's not popular in my district.
He can come down here and yell all He wants but I'm not gonna listen to a don't you think that is somewhat Republicans are going to be -- in -- overplaying their hand on all this stuff.
Well I disagree with the congressman obviously she's a French woman along you know one thing about President Obama and all of -- his approvals down.
But He has electability -- it's extremely high because He personifies the -- in America socialism.
And frankly if -- seen as being blocked we'll try to do the right thing.
Republicans will pay the price you have to give and take it happened why it's compromised I think they would agree -- -- on the.
I actually agree and it's you're seeing evidence of it from no labels and Howard Schultz from Starbucks these -- from Warren Buffett.
You see your arm also from inside the party with -- -- -- Just returned twenty years on the hill both house Senate Budget Committee is retiring saying -- can't put overlooked whereas the the the -- you don't see some Republicans may go which is take Obama out at any cost even if it's that the -- of -- David you agreed with you -- what America does -- once he's compromised based on political convenience I -- they wanna -- -- compromised if we get that -- it -- it leads -- jobs that I think you know everybody in -- and and let everybody go -- election -- -- haven't done the right -- and see who's gonna -- slowly because the jobs -- -- the American -- comfortably anyway.
We are gonna have to have this election after all fellas.
All right guys thank you both for being with -- -- and -- also want to share with you that you were Tina.
GL OJ EO and Aaron that's that's -- -- -- last -- start on used to it so I sympathize.
But she poses but I think -- exactly the kind of question that ought to be going to YouTube dot com back slash Fox News when she says what about education reform.
The Republican is willing to cut the Department of Education -- complain when jobs are outsourced when Americans are not educated enough to keep these jobs within our borders Tina get over there and torture -- Great okay now we want to leave you as we'd like to do every day with a word from our French -- Yes.
I do think it's a problem on two levels there is a problem on the fast track and and relieve pressure for obvious from the White House to get -- and done.
With a minimal or or faulty analysis so that you have a photo op.
With Joseph Biden you know it -- may be the the most expensive.
Photo -- American history because half a billion dollars.
But and it could show wrongdoing it's not obvious yet right now who would -- But the larger issue is why the government involvement -- in the first place why actually he's taught him how the CEO -- here.
Why is -- CEO reporting to a member of congress He should be reported to the board of directors.
To their shareholders.
To the workers and not to members of because of corruption of the process.
I mean it's fairly this is an industrial policy.
Government which is not equipped.
Picking winners and losers.
It's lemon socialism.
