Employment rate in the situation is police say the least more than half the states in the US are reporting increased unemployment rates for August.

This is on the heels of the president's push to pass his jobs -- and we've heard from many Republicans.

But made it clear that you not support this plan.

But now even some Democrats are speaking out against it and joining -- -- democratic senator Joseph mansion from West Virginia senator you just got -- presiding over the senate has been a busy morning -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Are you have -- very well so tell us right now in its current form would you vote yes or no and -- for that president's job is now.

Did there's a good the bad and ugly I don't think it's in the beginning to -- one solid -- I really think that people wanna sit down.

You know is very encouraging -- 37 of its 3718.

Republicans nineteen Democrats came together supporting a larger deal for the deficit.

You so we showed that we can come together and I think we can find good parts of the bill helping our veterans back to work.

Infrastructure bank.

I think Democrats are ready when did ages said He would -- your fork heading to fort trillion dollars or supporting receiver committee to -- that's -- for -- trillion dollars over the next ten years.

And things like infrastructure bank would cost some money so -- -- this you think what we have now.

Your -- basically when you spend money -- infrastructure you're gonna invest -- I keep looking at things will work.

Infrastructure works infrastructure makes things happening makes economies grow we know that happened in West Virginia we did well with the -- so if they get under either -- it.

Let me tell you things that don't work OK if you want to know that.

The extending -- the employment tax cuts.

That's 240 billion dollars.

We tried that last year and did not get the bump we should've got them and also puts a strain on Social Security.

That's -- we don't want to do.

So you don't like that part of that -- that you like neighborhood as you mentioned infrastructure bank I only have about.

45 seconds or senator -- eight inland Virginia things you see.

That it the infrastructure spending create a sustainable job growth for the long term not just in the immediate few -- -- Structure basically -- infrastructure you improve your infrastructure your roads your bridges it gives you a chance to compete in the marketplace.

We it's it's a one time basically we do the construction but basically gives you an opportunity to to perform.

And we're able to do that part of -- state of West Virginia has done quite well but we watched we target what we're gonna spend money on and something didn't work we didn't spend it over again.

We just -- continue to invest in something doesn't work.

There's four -- fifty billion dollars this cost is too -- we can't put more debt on the backs of the taxpayers we just can't do it.

We need a fairness to the tax -- I think the fairness needs to -- the taxes that I think most Americans do.

They just want to make sure I'm going to be paying taxes ever campaign -- more as far as fairness is it gonna go to reduce the debt.

Or more spending.

They don't want more spending I don't want more spending I think when you take care of our problems that we have.

Pay down the debt -- fairness of the system don't raise the taxes right making sure that we get people back.

And I wish we get some more time next time -- -- in Atlanta dig into that He would that a third of the senate getting together saying they're gonna support -- -- committee -- to make the cuts.

They -- they're gonna be bold and the one that we needed so hopefully maybe well maybe next week we need to get together and talk a little bit more about that senator thank you very much.

I will be right back.
