So nice to see expected to see it now -- had a chance look at the president's -- deficit bill the jobs that we think about.
Up.
Well it's.
It's a big tax increase that's basically what news.
If you look at it it's maybe 81 billion dollars in spending cuts.
And one point 45 trillion dollars in tax increases that's not a dumps them.
-- just read a report from UBS the number one detriment the job creation in this country.
Is.
The president's health care.
Businesses aren't gonna hire people that they know they're going to be mandated to -- And so that's the number one thing keep -- people right now for hiring new people.
It's that they know next year in the middle of the year after that they're gonna have to have an additional benefit that they don't have.
You're actually just -- second.
Output of the doctors in the practicing doctors about the health care which might be separate from the hostage to what this oh I'd say you know I don't have a a statistic what I hear from -- -- -- what -- -- hear -- -- -- -- -- -- disaster.
It's it's an absolute disaster not only -- what it -- it's also.
It's a -- now getting fifty or 60000 dollar from this build the things that I T into the practice which they don't need right now.
And isn't gonna work and it's hard transition until it gets in -- We don't have an interoperable standards so they're gonna get a bunch of money ever wanna miss the practices medicine because we're -- we paid for that in this bill.
But you're gonna have the government decide when -- treated Medicare patient what you used to treat the pit Medicare patient what new procedures you can do so.
-- routinely I would say the doctors I talked and that's not just from Oklahoma think this is an absolute disaster for patients.
Now yours and mine and I say it lightly favorite issue and I sit there is that is that about a year ago -- -- -- -- the commission the GAO to do report on.
I'm -- products diversity on my desk.
There's news about GAO and there -- -- getting back.
Well it it's very disappointing to me that the Appropriations Committee would cut the members of congress budget 3%.
But cut the only effective tool that we have to actually help us with the oversight -- and a half percent.
And and you what you need to do is ask them why they would there'd -- -- Why am I that is why why is GOP cut the deal a person gets ignored anyway haven't seen him into -- you would that report which is.
Astounding but lies GOP -- so much in congress -- I don't know I think it I don't know the answer I have some suspicions I don't know that there are accurate.
But actually they've showed up.
They're doing the job that they appropriation committee should be doing.
And there help and those of us that care about waste fraud abuse and duplication of the government.
Show what how much stupid thing and many stupid things go on and having things we're finding that don't have any good result.
And they're helping us do that and of course who funds that the appropriation committee so -- very well could be pay back as far as I'm concerned when you're gonna cut -- three times which kept the members.
There's something wrong with it and -- -- hot -- have tremendously professional organization.
Highly competent dedicated employees that want to help fix our country and appropriation committees.
We just stunning it's one thing -- this report -- in this report I have read it and it it is it's pretty masterful in terms of identifying.
Easy ways to -- to get rid of the government.
And it's pretty astounding that virtually I've seen no action on it.
And now I'm hearing from what -- that there another budgets being -- of the very people who were there is some there has been some action we actually pass.
That -- a reduction of five billion dollars.
But then the bill -- -- offered that same amendment.
This last week on the the theme of bill.
And ten of the people that voted for before voted against it -- they don't want.
The elimination and so you can see it's a political vote when you know nothing's gonna happen when when it's actually gonna do something about it actually cut five billion dollars out of the government.
Didn't vote for.
It just don't understand and get -- district carelessly companies -- a hard time understand that.
Any member of congress -- that would ever vote against.
I'm getting rid of waste and fraud identity not.
I don't I calculus goes there Greta I think the calculus is this what looks good from my next election.
It can't be that -- isn't well I'm I think it is a lot of times if you look at all would just look at this.
Why -- we had to go from 64 votes to 54 votes on the exact same.
Why did they do it -- and is and it's astounding to me.
Because their plan and the party line rather than what's good for America.
They're they're voting on what's best for a party and Republicans do it today.
What's best for the party rather what's best for the country and so I'm pretty cynical I'm here I've been here six and a half years Morton man I've actually seen it from the inside.
It is it is so disappointing to me to see people not -- a courageous stand didn't write this thing for our country.
The cause of some political consideration but it says that's why we're in the trouble -- it.
Is we have careers here and the number one goal this next election not.
But this shouldn't be Republican democratic and this should be in your ability sleep at night having -- content if there's easy waste.
Get rid of that there is easy woods there's 350 billion dollars and easy ways if congress would actually inform themselves.
And do the hard work and fend off the interest groups that want the ways that get the money for nothing and don't accomplish anything with the purposes.
We could we could do go a long ways -- in our country.
But -- takes hard work you actually have to study you have to know it and you had to be able go out and not be afraid to defend.
Which are cutting because everything that we -- has an interest group that is living often they're sucking off.
It's wasteful -- accomplish anything but they're getting the money and so uses people -- politicians avoid confrontation.
In our country can't afford anymore we have to confront the very fact that we're bankrupt already we just don't know it.
And we need real action right now to actually eliminate three or 400 billion dollars a year ago.
I think sir good to be with.
