I can tell you that.

After I spoke -- after I said some things -- to my chain of command with regard to my concerns after others.

Some things to the -- we have other concerns about the investigation.

Myself and John Dotson specifically.

We were transferred from the group we were placed in positions away from the investigation itself deny access to the investigation.

An and I wouldn't that is a measure of control and I guess if you wanna call it -- that be an accurate statement working the chain of command it was difficult we had been -- that.

Right I was present when it happened but had been told that one of the -- actively was mr.

Gillette.

Had responded to agents Dodson and costs on other agency group who spoke up about concerns about guns being walked.

And and they were given direction that wasn't what was happening and I think that it determine it's been referred to the court used by the media has been.

If you want -- may come once again scramble a few extra something to that effect and so the chain of command became largely unavailable to.

To me.

In particular so I addressed it with my group supervisor David -- off.

And asked him to to address the conduct of the casing I viewed it -- very limited focus is being.

There's some things happening with this case agent in the way that these investigations are being conducted -- documents are being handled.

That I didn't think were appropriate.

Nothing happened.

Frustration mounted both for myself from from people in the office repeated requests of the supervisor to address these issues didn't happen has been with ATF.

For twelve years has been in law enforcement for 26 years.

Have always been about.

Stopping crime -- view it is my duty.

To it to serve the public to protect the public.

Both now is a special agent informally as -- as is an officer in the united states army.

Protect and serve and I didn't see what was happening in the fast and furious investigations protecting and serving.

So I went out and with the assistance of some other agents in the group who were like minded we started interdicting guns and making arrests.

Within days and interdiction of my minor -- of guns and making an arrest I was notified.

Not by my chain of command but by.

I staff member and and -- resource specialists that I was.

Being transferred.

Fact I was.

Actually in training in El Paso, Texas learning how to combat southwest border firearms trafficking.

-- tap on the shoulder and congratulated about my transfer from being in the field enforcement position to a senior operations administrative position.

Within the division.

Not a promotion that position is largely was largely an -- and an office still is now but.

At the time was largely viewed as a punitive move was largely viewed as.

And is somewhere where people go to be disciplined or terminated in fact my predecessor in that position.

Wasn't -- terminated by the agency part might take -- that role -- and a great deal of concern about mind.

My security my job security and my job the real motivation is I see it.

Is He.

I think that it was a flawed strategy I think she did need to get some some mom.

I want to credit but to -- some recognition to the persons who work that case I think.

That the agents were trying to do something to to actually what they thought legitimately investigate.

And stop.

The flow of guns but it was short -- it didn't anticipate the strategy was -- -- -- -- anticipate a consequence.

I don't know -- couldn't anticipate the consequence.

I think that they thought that they could send enough guns and ultimately they're gonna figure out where they're going in they're going to be able to arrest people along the way and and and eliminate a a cell or -- trafficking -- of firearms the problem menaces that that fails to consider the harm to the public.

The threat to the Mexican people which mean we we don't talk a lot about that but.

I'm aware that it other median Anthony's and fox have covered it and there are a number of deaths in Mexico that are directly being attributed to this.

To this investigation.

And -- personal knowledge of that -- -- -- in the media -- they have that in fact is true that that's that's terrific that's that's cool.
