And that didn't make it easy at an understatement right yes alcoholic yet and how did that affect you.
Well I I you know I came in the youngest of ten children of very poor family.
I came at the end of the depression.
My dad was a dirt farmer.
A sharecropper tobacco.
And it it was a hard life my mother left when I was about twelve or thirteen.
And left me and my sister the one next -- in age we took care of my father.
And you know there's so many people think that I've had a privileged upbringing and higher education and then all of -- things and -- just so far from the truth.
And I want to people who know that.
I'm not just Carol -- you know that there's a lot more dimension to my life and I hope.
In writing a book that I can inspire someone who might have had.
Some of the challenges that I've had who have made some of the mistakes I've made and bad choices but I've managed to.
Keep -- learning keeping evolving and and becoming happier and happier in my life -- and that takes a lot of courage you find it ironic that based on the fact I know you struggled with writing this book up until very concerned because I mean that.
You really want to talk about some of these pimple moment that you find it ironic.
That you had this.
Sad life at the beginning.
And you ended up becoming America's most well known mom who seem to do everything -- And I was not interesting people often ask -- -- You know Carol Brady -- to create that character not -- because that's the kind of mother I always wished -- had.
And didn't hat and so I think a lot of people feel that way that.
Little damn show won't go way that I tailored to let you do the truth is ousted a lot of the work you should have been doing an academy.
