Obama back -- my next guest says the controversy surrounding the Ford commercial is just the latest in a laundry list of examples of the White House bullying big businesses.
And joining me -- to explain is the author of the number one New York Times best selling book culture of corruption Michelle Malkin.
-- -- -- -- -- Thanks -- back -- you know when you think about it.
This really is -- when you think about you know the idea that.
You know the president has a narrative I saved the car companies.
And Ford you know comes out with -- -- say hey wait a minute this guy bought this car for the reasons he's expressing.
But -- and He wanted to support a company that didn't look to the government for handout god bless them.
And yes absolutely and here comes but this is just one example of many that you point out -- recent column.
The -- I think this is this is just indicative of a long pattern of bare knuckles brass knuckles intimidation by this White House.
And even the way that this hold for holds Ford fiasco.
Tells you everything you need to know about -- this White House even its water carriers in the media operate.
Now you had a brave whistle blowing columnist.
Who first called attention.
And He reports that there were White House officials who complained about.
The ad that was critical of the auto bailout and that there were it was apparent grumbling in the Obama administration.
Because they consider Alan Mulally the CEO of Ford some kind of hypocrite -- although forty did not accept.
Federal -- auto bailout money they did not oppose it and in fact I think supported some of it for its competitors.
And it and it has a record of of having.
-- -- some federal funding in the past all that aside though.
There's this -- -- over the White House because of these allegations.
That they somehow -- -- the company to pull the act now naturally.
The company is denying that there was any pressure.
Wouldn't you hunt gain many of these companies are steered out of their -- patients.
By this White House sent -- and it's bullying but just because there are denials on both side.
Both sides doesn't mean that that the truth of what -- house is saying is -- anyway -- that in fact the -- Detroit -- standing by the story yet web.
I think probably the worst example though is when the S&P.
Downgraded for the first time in our history our our bond rating.
All a sudden the Justice Department goes after S&P.
Now I would assume for a couple reasons they don't want another downgrade -- number two.
Maybe they're sending a message to Moody's maybe they're sending a message to other people.
Don't mess with us -- -- and did you point out your article Deere caterpillar Verizon AT&T.
These are all companies hauled before congress I -- Coke is gonna be next because called CEO this week was critical of the president's economic plan.
-- is it do we just sum it up and say it's the Chicago way.
Is He -- as it doesn't White House get away with this do people really it did not involve deep concern yourself with the abuse of power.
Well I think that the the context is very important and like you say Sean I have an entire litany of examples like this.
Other go back today watt and He did -- thing that's most -- about this administration -- and it's commander in chief.
Waving around his brass knuckles it that he's always playing the victim.
When this guy has been a Chicago -- -- victim's clothing from day one.
Nino would also annoys me the fact that the media is so willing to whitewash it when they themselves.
Had been victimized and harassed by this the Pleasanton -- the San Francisco chronicle the Boston Herald.
All of these newspapers have been in some way.
Punished or admonished.
For doing things that the Obama administration didn't like.
And yet they'll look the other way and say that stories have been put put to rest about corporate intimidation because it doesn't set.
Obama narrative that somehow he's -- white Knight and all the rest of us are the ones that are that's -- Yeah -- we can't by the way forget Gibson guitar in this and you mentioned that you come right women living Obama really quickly get an update from you on the -- -- -- light squared as scandal.
LA times broke the story this week to their credit and they said that Obama himself in fact was warned by Summers by Geithner.
That these companies hadn't been vetted and that that there might be problems.
-- to that Geithner says it's a bargain 200000 dollars per job according -- the jobs plan that we're gonna pay.
And now we've got the jobs program our own Department of Energy say they -- spending 23.
Million dollars per job.
For the so called Green energy jobs program 23 yeah.
We yes we just keep having an at an avalanche of new information -- disclosures.
About how this administration ignored every single last honking red flag about the Green jobs big boondoggle.
And they went ahead anyway to reward all of their donors.
It didn't matter that we were being put on the hook for all these huge sink holes.
And I would remind people about the first rule of holes which of course classic role when herein -- stopped did -- thing and yet despite this some lenders scandal we have the Department of Energy announced.
That it is pouring a billion dollars more into these shady deals -- not as -- -- seven million.
That's right from one of them and another one's about nearly half a billion.
For a second DL and on top of that watch very closely they continue to fight over the commerce secretary nominee who -- Happens to be a big mobile who invests in and is pushing guess what.
Unbelievable you know Canada had a recession in 2009.
Guess what they drill -- way out of that Michelle great work as always good to see it.
You bet take care -- let not your heart --
