As a black Republican who took your -- heat.

Of the democratic leadership you're a member of the Congressional Black Caucus but that is not been a pleasant relationship.

In many ways.

Herman Cain has taken some heat because he's talking about racial politics and He called black voters brainwashed.

How do you feel about that is that okay or not okay.

So much challenge too good when you look at what has happened with the black community when you look at what happened in 2008.

We had about 95 about a 6% of African American community support the president.

-- yet now you see sixteen point 7% unemployment the black community.

You -- 20% unemployment -- black adult males 45 to 46%.

Unemployment for black cut teenagers then there -- some questions -- have to be answered.

And for the president to stand up before the quote unquote relief -- black political and economic and intellectual capital.

They say that people need to take their bedroom slippers often stop complaining and groaning and moaning.

I think that they have some very legitimate concerns because they're not seeing.

Their policies that -- and now the Obama administration having a positive effect in the black community.

When you definitely see almost double.

The unemployment rate nationally so I think that the challenge that we have to say.

To the black community is you have to start doing -- Doctor King say it is to start judging people by the content of their character not by the color understand.

You also have to start.

-- investing yourself across the entire political spectrum and not just a one party who takes you for granite.

Okay let's get to the meat of the subject the president says pass my bill He has a 450 billion dollar stimulus package coupled with the two trillion dollar tax increase on upper -- He is working very hard to increase pressure.

On you and your fellow Republicans in the house.

You have been advantage to to a significant degree by the fact that didn't senate Democrats won't cooperate with the president -- what are you start.

Are you starting to feel the heat a little bit down in swing state Florida.

No I'm not feeling any sort of sort of -- because.

Down -- swing state Florida down South Florida once again you have unemployment.

In the South Florida region.

Just a little bit above 11%.

So we're now looking to have another mini -- stimulus passed up here.

You know the thing is government does not create wealth government does not create jobs -- government has to do is set the conditions.

For our private sector for small businesses to be able to grow and that means the right type.

Fiscal policies monetary tax and regulatory policies and that's not where we're getting.

It means that our small banks need to be able to provide access to capital.

To our small businesses but when you look at the dog front -- our small banks to not being able to do that so the president is going in the wrong dar re excellent.

And when you think about how Bill Clinton -- it.

After the mid term elections defeat that He so 1994.

What we see is a president that is doubling down and his really intensified his rhetoric to this point of this class warfare -- was saying.

You look at what's happening up there on Wall Street -- these young people who really be in this way it and people such as some Michael Moore who come on saving capitalism.

-- destroying America will capitalism is what built America so I think that the president needs to take heed to the fact that Harry Reid does not want to bring.
