The album debuted this Tuesday and she joins us this morning to talk about it -- And good to be here congratulations on your album this is your eleventh studio album aptly named eleven -- -- tell us about that single on -- love you through it what's the motivation.

Well first terminal any fear that I was just so moved if it's a song for those who haven't heard -- it's a song about.

About a breast cancer.

A woman is going -- breast cancer and her husband in this case is her support person who is telling her.

That he'll be there for her no matter wise and I and I just never heard a song.

About that and written in this really honest straightforward.

Authentic way and them and just -- me so much.

How beautiful on how appropriate -- this is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month that's agreed to subject.

So you -- that this new album shows a different side of your personality what is that.

Shows where the fun -- my personality a little bit it just feels to me this record feels.

Maybe -- most authentic record that I made and also.

It's it's -- little more playful I think I don't know I I just tried not to think too much you know I just tried to create music and let it all happen and be open to whatever inspiration.

Surrounded me screw it needed more right here on the shelf I did I was six of the eleven songs which I think.

Helps that you know I think that's a big part and -- my personality just allowed me to really get in there and creates -- mean that.

Is that fits you know incident happening someone else makes those words -- -- Let's talk about another one of the songs on the album called teenage daughter is.

Your own daughters are in the music video for what was that experience like is really fun we had the best day -- -- it was a long day we shot.

Three different for different time period that's you look at the eighties right there -- thought I recognize -- -- unfortunately additive.

And -- regardless of a thousand hoot to read music video they loved it and they did such a great job I don't think we could've hired actors to do a better job.

And we have that memory you know that will Molly Shannon as am -- right there and -- And then -- is -- -- later so yeah -- -- -- Sunday and you have three daughters are are the teenage years as hellish as everyone says they are are not not so much to move had a couple of bumps in the road but nothing major you know just.

-- dealing with peer pressure and that sort of thing but now so far so good I mean you know I have.

Two little girls -- six years old.

So obviously people dread the teenagers for teenage daughters what's your secret for surviving them so far.

I'm minister to do everything I sat there.

Now I think on -- open communication you know letting them know that you can they can come to you with anything in your not gonna freak out in -- Try to help them figure it out and work together.

They've done so much you have eleven albums under your belt what's still on here to do list or your bucket list as they call it I just winning you know what mostly just wanna keep doing what I'm doing keep touring and making records I I get to go out in January into with George Strait -- I'm very excited about.

And then we'll start our own tour and that.

You know march or April to support this record so I -- having the best time ever had in my whole career really.

It's just it's just so I'm so -- so much and I've been re -- I have so much passion for what I do and and this -- a blast site -- -- -- -- you know continuing to do that.
