President Obama is not officially on the campaign trail but everything He does from now on we'll basically we'll be.
Part of the campaign.
What is things that's.
An article came out.
Talking about is that he's kind of alone on the campaign trail that -- doesn't have the gaggle of Democrats you know.
-- -- I think some of these appearances.
I think in trips to Michigan and North Carolina Pennsylvania.
A state He carried in 2008.
No members of congress act -- is a -- -- you.
No shock here he's followed an approval ratings people don't want to.
Be seen is tagging around with him especially in the states where people are a little more.
Likely to disapprove -- the overall number is something that Republicans were certainly face with.
With President Bush.
In 2008.
In 20060.
This is no surprise here but I think.
What Democrats have to realize is whether or not there with him.
They're going to be lined with him in advertising going into next year's election.
Currently reading too much into this story is is actually something that when you -- about it.
You know it's again too soon to tell I think that the precedent.
Is being honored are obviously on -- beach bid for reelection but what's when He -- matter is how the economy is still two quarters before.
The actual election dates we're not there yet -- the economy is starts to trend better I think you'll get a lot of momentum from -- Right now it doesn't matter.
Yet you know -- -- -- things that's really interesting is that in North Carolina senator Kay Hagan.
Was actually on the on the stump with him as well as veteran representative Mel Watt.
And He represents a majority of a majority black.
My area and senator -- she's up for reelection until 2014 so.
There seems to be this sort of he's.
He's not what it liability act but they don't want to get -- close to him yeah and it it.
We just amazing is it is this sort of a trend that's gonna go this way I mean chemicals -- do you think it's gonna gathered -- the other way anyway what can you -- -- around.
This gonna follow his poll numbers and news stories that are out about him nationally and in the states of voters.
In these states are looking at -- stories and in these leaders Democrat leaders they're watching news stories in their states they're just trying to minimize the negative press for themselves.
And this understandable.
You President Obama is getting a lot of hits these days is not going to be too much fun to hang around him it's understandable.
I don't think that we should read too much into it but I think it'll continue as long as the national press is counts and on.
The drumbeat of his negative poll numbers.
A Pennsylvania former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell called members of congress -- is.
I mean I.
-- get much stronger -- they're not telling me in it like that they're not following around and in no matter what he's a popular guy sold your was.
I mean what do you think you know I -- ice cream Nicklaus.
I really I -- it's it's it's not gonna matter right now I think that you know yes it's what's that what's happening is perfectly normal it's happened to -- Republicans and Democrats on both sides of the when they are in tricky situations in the election campaigns.
Nothing new here so I don't think it matters -- I think it will matter.
In the future when.
Things really start trending the wrong way or the other and it looks as we need to have to make a decision the -- -- getting better that's a question for the election I think you will see even more congressman.
Running away from Obama played it starts getting better -- -- -- jump into that bandwagon because everybody knows that that is what is going to decide the election.
Now think Rendell I think Rendell -- -- says that they were in Dell's wanting to see his.
Fellow Democrats be more pro active.
Instead of reactive they don't want He doesn't want to see them out cowering and -- in reacting to negative news stories He wants them propping Obama up from the ground up.
-- of those local local voters that's what he's wanting to see.
-- Because we're such a visual media.
The campaign and mean it's TV all the -- -- -- it's visuals.
If you were -- not seen on the podium nobody really knows you're not there.
But if you are seen that makes a better statement so they don't have to really.
Say it -- that is that just other commitments I have you know my kid's baseball game I have -- -- all the things that you know are legitimate reasons for not showing up -- -- but the fact of the matter is.
That photo op with the president.
Whose poll numbers are what are dropping makes a big difference to.
I can't I congressman.
-- -- -- -- -- We'll make it makes a big difference right now but I can guarantee almost every one of those members already has a picture out there publicly with the president.
And so what's gonna happen is whether or not they take that picture today and get a few negative hits.
Next November next October August September.
They're gonna have pictures out there and they're going to be run and ads anyway so I mean I can't blame them for not wanting the you know negative hit here right now but they should just expect is gonna come.
