This video went viral on YouTube and what we understand is that this in fact is the judge in question his name is William Adams.
He's been a judge in right outside woman and a small community in Texas for quite some time.
And this video was apparently shot back in 2004.
That shows him disciplining his teenage daughter who happens to be disabled.
And it's a very graphic and and quite frankly violent video.
He's using a belt to whip and beat this child cursing at the child.
-- one of the there's another woman in the video believed to be his spouse.
Who's telling the child to take it like a sixteen year old.

Well we believe that this video was actually released by the now adult.
Daughter that the individual who was not only this -- Is back in 2004 they believe this video was shot we don't know why it was that -- we don't understand the circumstances of why it was put out.
But it's out there now and we understand that a number of agencies and taxes are now investigating this this video.
To determine if in fact any loss of the growth.

The Texas Department of Public Safety the Texas Rangers -- they -- they've been brought in to assist local police in investigating this.
And then they tell me that at this point -- it is unclear at there's a statute of limitations.
And a -- of any crime was committed.
That the judge is very well known well respected in the community.
There had been some sort of a family situation.
We we don't know the extent of that.
For the time being he's not been removed from the bench but he has so removed himself from hearing cases so.
We'll have to see how this place.
