At the top -- start with you Jim -- -- information as far as according to Politico.

That it's not moving the polls for the president -- who was even thinking about the jobs thing with all this other stuff going on the southern political theater right.

But I think most people -- one need to think about politics at all these days at the -- because of how broken things are and the president's message I do you think is resonating we we -- starting to see.

A slight uptick in some of his numbers now folks are saying well that could be related to -- and that could be related to you know the Dow going up.

Last week but the bottom line is the most important poll is gonna take place in a year.

And between now and then the president's going to make a very clear case of all of the steps that he tried.

All of the measures -- -- forward and how basically those were blocked.

Intense intentionally I would say by congress.

Because they have a mission right now the only job they're concerned about is president Obama's job they don't care about the middle class they don't care about.

Actually passing legislation that.

They had supported for many many years they don't care about anything that can be done.

To turn that your unemployment trend around so that when I Election Day comes that president Obama's economy is on an upswing.

That is what they have to stop.

Their intention is to make sure that the economy is stagnant to make sure that they turn their back -- proposals that they've supported for many years.

And that's -- the -- to resonate.

As we get more and more into the campaign.

Clearly it's not good where the president is right now -- his numbers but.

That's why he's out there day after day.

Yesterday at the key bridge you know last week in Denver talking about student loans he's taking this message we can't wait across the country.

Okay well Karen how do you see it I mean you know this seems a little bit up politics going on there -- me I -- it's kind of yes -- -- taking pieces portions of that presidents bill to -- -- kind of frustrated Republicans.

At that people who don't want to stimulate the economy that are really out I jobs that are hurting the American people what do you think about that.

Do you think it's threatening.

Look and it president got a -- I think from some of the foreign policy successes that he's had lately you know like I -- -- he's also probably gotten a little bit of Nevada because.

You know what's going on in Republican circles right now -- fog infighting.

But I don't think he's getting a -- Biden.

Is the economy because.

Despite its you know -- some.

Positive growth which we're all happy for.

Rule and and an up and down stock market at that does the stock market -- -- -- the numbers that's just almost silly to even think about because it's up one day it's down another.

But look consumer confidence.

Is extraordinarily -- The right track wrong track number is not in the president's favorite strongly wrong track.

These are not good numbers for the president and if you'll notice.

And the president is out there touting here all the great things I've done for you.

And it hasn't been Republicans obviously.

Blocking everything look at congress -- stay highway transportation bill it was say an X six and six month extension of the transportation bill so there is funding out there.

For roads and transportation and highway with the president wants is an additional sixty billion dollars.

With no way to pay for it and it no certainty -- -- -- -- that -- if you if you vote on this sixty billion today in the senate.

That that money will actually get out into the pipeline any time soon and actually create jobs.

You know I think you -- what you're hearing from.

Actual job creators forget congress and forget Republicans and what they say about jobs let's talk to the people who actually create jobs.

The National Association of Manufacturers held -- four on just this week.

And you know when asked -- Republican candidates what would you do to get to stimulate the economy how would you help the manufacturing community.

And let you -- time again.

From an actual manufacturers people who really do have a payroll in -- to need it.

Is you've got to fix the regulations the at the 4200.

Regulations are pending right now that's 4200.

New rules pending.

That manufactures and business owners across the country -- will have to comply with that cost them money it costs them time.

So you know there's a lot more to this story than -- simply these gimmicks.

You know pass this bill or are we can't wait these are gimmicks it's not actual policy is not actually dry you mean.

The economy.

And you know I think the president has really tough road ahead to prove what he's.

Done for the American people not just blame Republicans.

I would say the 400000.

Teachers that.

Are going to lose their jobs the first responders would not call these proposals gimmicks.

This is their -- had these are communities that are being fractured because these positions are not going to be around.

To teach our kids to be there when the cops and firefighters are called upon.

This isn't a gimmick and I think the -- sense that.

The president has been putting forward that he's and he's willing and ready to act and there are some things they do have bipartisan support.

They have always had bipartisan support infrastructure.

Transportation.

To look at it as as a six month bill adds a solution.

Is ludicrous you know who is not just fed up with every single person DC for legislating six months at a time three months at a time temporary.

You know -- resolution -- -- It's ridiculous and and I think the president is going to connect with the American people when he is able to talk to them one on one about the proposals he put forward.

The support they originally -- from the Republicans and how they turn their back on it because they simply want to make sure he doesn't get reelected.
