During a visit to occupy Atlanta protests.

The -- blocked by letter protest reverend Jesse Jackson compared the occupied movement to the civil rights struggle.

It's about justice it's about the American dream.

Bob Hope that we all loan fall forty million Americans in poverty and he's -- -- you have no job.

That is the father civil rights struggle it's -- the -- that several laws people who was campaign it's not a moral commitment to defend the pool.

And to deliver the needed.

But is that a fair comparison Martin Luther King junior's -- Al -- king joins us now of -- it is also the director of African American outreach for -- For life good morning to -- That morning it's wonderful to join you -- thank you so much so when you heard Jesse Jackson.

Compare the occupy Atlanta Wall Street Chicago Oakland movements to what your uncle was doing in society.

What was your first reaction.

Well.

I believe that reverend Jackson -- doing a disservice.

And -- he is -- twentieth century civil wrong leader.

And this point you see I marched in the twentieth century as well and now on the 21 century.

Picking up the mantle for even the youngest you know from conception until natural death and life.

But my uncle the whole movement was founded in prior.

Hand in crying out for dad in a peaceful movement.

And this movement is not peaceful you know -- really the people who came out could genuinely frustrated.

Who want a change.

They made a leader who -- want to leave them peacefully.

-- not encourage them to be embroiled in all of these things and I think that acorn is somewhere in the mix with that to me and my uncle certainly could not have condoned it.

Voter fraud as a coin was that.

Charged with and all of that so I think reverend Jackson needs to revisit his twentieth saint century history.

Elevated and you see would have massive -- parking is now they have ever -- of of President Obama so -- it goes across both parties at this point and there's massive arrest twenty either landing yesterday.

A hundred no welcome -- -- Oakland last week and yesterday Jesse Jackson I understand was part of a group that took over -- for an hour.

And just started singing songs and disrupting things and they keep doing things like that.

Well.

Actually during the civil rights movement in the twentieth century and we are modeling that the civil rights movement now which the pro life movement has also put picking up.

Prayer -- peaceful nonviolent movement.

-- -- You know and can really help the people to people started this in frustration they wanted something had that would give them solutions.

Something that would make things better and what they're doing now reverend Jackson knows that this is not the model that my uncle and my father reverend AD king -- he knows where that.

What I found -- interesting because in that particular clip that we played Jesse Jackson did say the American dream.

We've heard that before from your uncle I have victory.

I have entry well they don't necessarily there and what what would your uncle do with these occupy protests what would -- to.

Get.

Napoli hit a day.

My father reverend AD king.

If I -- able to join them I'd get on my knees and had began to pray.

How would seeing the Bible based war songs I would assure the people.

How what cry out to the lord to help us -- you know we shall overcome god is on our side.

We be doing this piece finally.

We would not be inciting the people to to that type of anger.

That destroys and that's really what's going on with this and that's not helping the people you know the people are hurt and they need help.

Not to be excited to -- being violent tomorrow.

A BB king thanks so much forgiveness your perspective we'll look forward to tracking all your movements because you're not sitting idle a year you're in action thanks much for joining us.

Thank you so much.
