Hi everyone meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast and today it will be another generally tranquil -- -- across the region we had a nice weekend a lot of sunshine no rain.

And temperatures near normal and that's basically the story once again to kick off your workweek here on this Monday high temperatures that 62 degrees from -- not only down to Philadelphia and even DC.

-- you're looking at a high temperature today a little bit cooler.

At 58 and also a high of 58 degrees.

Over further to the west announcing new York and buffalo otherwise as far as the precipitation goes for today we're expecting and generally dry day there are a couple of showers brother -- -- the west of the new storm system that's gonna Begin to -- eastbound.

And could be bringing in a chance for some precipitation by the time we head into Thursday across the northeast.
