Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the -- extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast and today will be another.

Generally mild day across the area we're looking at very warm temperatures yesterday we saw -- high temperature of 68 degrees.

In New York City well above average and today we're seeing those highs again in the mid sixties.

Upper sixties across portions of the interior northeast 68 for buffalo and Syracuse and we're expecting a high of 67 in Pittsburgh in the reason why we're seeing all of this.

Warm air -- places not only because we're expecting a lot of sunshine high pressure in place.

Well we also have a cold -- right to our west and a had a that we have that southerly flows that's really.

Pumping and that warmer air from the south into the region and then spread across the west -- that course front.

We're seeing some heavier -- of rain across portions of Michigan also western Ohio and Indiana and that system will slowly push eastward so interior portions of our area like the city of buffalo or even Pittsburgh could get cash.

-- centers have been patiently today and then we can see some additional showers throughout most of the area as we head into tomorrow but most of it should be generally light across the northeast -- there is a chance -- some flash flooding could occur tomorrow across portions of New England where some of the heavier rain.

We'll be focused that -- gonna keep an eye out.
