And welcome back to foxnews.com lot of Lauren Green well it seems the 20111000.

While NBA season is -- pretty.

As neither NBA commissioner David Stern an NBA players association are able to agree on terms of a new deal well let's get some sports insight -- -- -- Professional sports agent.

-- -- I you know and I'm doing great -- -- are we gonna see any basketball soon.

You know what I I don't feel.

-- I think yesterday it was sort of the tipping point where you know I think it's gonna and unfortunately at least for right now for the season potentially I think is definitely in jeopardy I mean any time you stopped communicating.

Right that's when it's in jeopardy and then and I'm just a big fan try to get on the same side of the table with people and try to communicate seven negotiate.

And sadly I think it's -- sort of people on the opposite side of the table and they're negotiating and I really communicating and I think they think divorces and option and it shouldn't be an option.

Let it at some point in the -- the NBA is going to survive regardless I think what happens I can imagine they would not survive but it in terms of negotiation.

When you represent athletes -- the better to negotiate well what's the difference between negotiating -- -- -- as -- as opposed to negotiate with several people.

Yet you know there's a big difference that I've been pushing for a half a billion dollars in contracts and most of mine have been representing athletes negotiating with a team so this is a certainly a different dynamic has -- -- group of players.

They're negotiating against the owners and at the end of the day you know the interesting thing about it is that.

You know -- you potentially had a little bit a divide with the players you got guys make it a lot of different sort of levels of money you've got guys at different places in their career so.

You know I'm not in the room right so I don't know exactly.

What that situation that dynamic -- but certainly there may be some disconnect there which makes -- -- -- call.

And then you know you've got owners that are saying that you know 22 out of the thirty teams are losing money and as a business woman right you can't.

You can't sustain that business model so if that is in fact true I think there's no question -- you've got to.

You've got to adjust the model.

And any other interesting thing for me is an and I talk about negotiation communication might block the business of the in the -- which talks about.

Some of the things I think are so important relevant to communication and negotiation which are Paramount.

Obviously.

You know and executing but the owners certainly are losing money they're not Clinton you know butts in the seats as they say and if they're not selling tickets.

They can't silence and activating the sponsorships.

We've got you may have -- a great point about how many players are so many different levels and that's got to include variables like -- You know marketing deals.

Endorsement and sponsorship issues you know but -- players -- different kinds of -- money -- just outside of NB -- contracts.

And that's got to be difficulty it was a difficulty when you're trying to negotiate for the entire league.

Right no question I mean I think that in any negotiation the more outside factors that come into play the more challenging -- -- sometimes -- if -- two people on a Roman.

You know that it's one thing right this is there's a lot of moving parts there's a lot of media around -- there's a lot of people involved and there's a lot of people touched by it.

And when that happens there's a lot of outside factors to your point.

The marketing deals a sponsorship deals.

But you know at the end of the day right you've got you've got you don't this companies are struggling the world's at a different place -- it was.

You know -- while back and I'm not sure the world has a lot of sympathy.

For sort of either side sadly self.

You know I think people have become somewhat disinterested and unfortunately so be interesting to see how it -- out you -- you can you -- the world and there are overseas leagues as well are they going to benefit from the NBA lockout year.

Well I think some of the guys -- -- sort of seven -- deal to go -- there and play a little bit and sort of stay stay active and stay involved and you know obviously the longer it lasts I mean.

You know these guys live a lifestyle where they expect to make a lot of money every other weekend when that stops.

You know that's gonna make some adjustments I think a lot of things I always say and in any negotiation the clock.

Is really in control.

And it's going to be -- -- you know the clock has already proved to be in control one and an entity as I think the outside factors are certainly.

A big part of this is -- press event in any negotiation is a big deal.

And they're they're walking into a situation there was tremendous precedent in advance of this right the -- that they.

Money was being split up earlier.

And then there's certainly you know sensitive to the precedent that they set moving forward to the present except for other leagues.

Relevance Vienna Fallon and and other governing bodies I think they're all sensitive to that -- A little -- what's your prediction and win -- the cut update to where we are we really are not gonna have a season at all.

You know I think I think you know what the process now right is -- -- file and then this'll go through these stages but you know any time you stop communicating and you start to get the courts involved and we go through this process I don't think we'll have a season this year I said.

You want fox a couple weeks ago that I thought -- start January because I had hoped that that they might be able to communicate come to resolution I don't think they'll have a season is here.

I think they'll continue to try to sort of -- acute against something -- and and start the season next year.

I I don't think they'll -- OK great name Hollywood -- -- again the business of being the vast the business of being the best and you certainly Ali pleasure professional sports agent thank you so much for being here thank you let me.
