There's new information in the search for a missing woman in Florida.

Michelle Parker's family confirms her cell phone has been found.

Parker vanished back on November 17 the same day and episode of the People's Court with her arguing with her former a former fiance.

Appeared on television.

David Lee Miller is following these latest developments from our newsroom David.

John this could be the great police have been waiting for.

The Orlando police are now confirming that they have located the missing woman's cell phone but aren't prevailing any of the I can tell you that authorities did release a picture of the iPhone as well as pictures of Michelle using it to take a self portrait.

A written statement that has been sent to the media said in part -- quote.

We will not disclose the date and location of where it was discovered the phone was found it remarkably good condition and is currently undergoing forensic testing.

And hope that it -- -- yield physical evidence and or data which will assist in the investigation.

Michelle's family was told about the discovery last night.

The sister was encouraged by the development that says although she wasn't told where the phone was located is disappointing it was not where they're still missing sister.

I'm excited because it it you know hopefully something will come of it hopefully.

There's something that can be found off of that to help you know locate where she says -- find out -- who did this.

The day Michelle disappeared her brother center a text message asking what she was up to.

She sent back a one word answer Waterford a possible reference to an Orlando neighborhood.

Because the phone is really a mini computer that works is also -- a GPS it could provide very valuable information leading to her disappearance.

Meanwhile.

Michelle's ex fiance -- Smith remains what police are calling the prime suspect in the case he continues to have custody of the couple's twin daughters.

Earlier this week's -- parents were questioned by investigators no word though on what if anything they have learned.
