Switching things up a little bit we're gonna go straight to our in studio performance the -- -- going to chat with them.

It is a Christmas song that we had for you it's Lee's -- house and the Broadway youth ensemble all coming your -- That.

Well welcome guys well let's talk about this song how did this all come out that you were gonna do this on -- that you're gonna work with the Broadway youth ensemble.

Well I had the pleasure of working with the brother you -- -- -- back in September when we did they I gig for the veterans and they did it -- song with me and they were just so wonderful and we decided you know -- how great would it be to do Christmas song with them backing me up and they -- so much fun to work with we had a great time doing the video and I was so glad to do my favorite Christmas songs of all time.

It is your favorite Christmas on the other end he had yes and I am quite how much fun -- this whole thing and I think it's it's it's.

All right and then coming a little bit about where you.

-- -- I'm -- perform -- in their reaction that you get obviously -- heat it's such a classic for so many people it is and it's funny we actually is some middle.

-- out about three weeks total and CMT television actually just picked it up as well as GAC and TC and and so that's then -- extraordinary we actually had the first the number one video this weekend on CN's -- what I thought was incredible and I was so excited about.

And actually a -- album is coming out digitally on December 21 called Sunrise Highway so.

So -- exonerate our.

Yeah I had fun I did tell me a little bit about that album I -- you call it Long Island country is NRA is John -- I created that I -- I really.

Coin a phrase Long Island country it's basically I love country music my whole life so I love the story telling of country music but I also like the edginess of rock and roll so.

Put the two together and I -- -- Long -- country and and the album is called sunrise highway and it's about twelve songs and they're all about experiences I've had personally up until this point in my life so.

And you're some of your influences who did you grow up thing.

Gosh I was an opera singer I studied an opera from eight years old -- about 1213 and but I listened to country music down in South Florida where I grew up band split Reynolds and -- first I exam I loved I loved Elvis Presley and and then as I got older I loved and Wilson from heart and Celine Dion so I love all different types of music so it all comes together guests on this album and it falls a little bit of your story -- I know you.

We're in the industries and -- more pop music and then it went -- focused on motherhood and now you're back yes we'll actually.

When I moved here back from Florida and country music there were -- outlets for -- radio stations at the time and if you told people that you listen to country music sometimes they look do you like to head to head -- and so you have to go with the flow and I was a teenager at the time and -- -- back here and so I went in in with.

Some rock music and pop music and I was offered.

A record deal and nineteen and I was -- the -- at -- at that time and my homage to Loretta Lynn I changed the name.

And so I did that until the record label folded they ran out of money and so -- back to square one.

And the night and that has -- and we had children and I continue to write and continue to play and perform and then.

I'd love to sing I never stop seeing and so even though the recording aspect of my career was on hold.

I continue to.

Hone in on the craft didn't and right in my children love playing there at their musically inclined as well and so it's a very musical family in there so it -- I hate in space support me -- I don't think I can do this if it wasn't for them.

I don't -- -- you feel that sentiment in terms of following your dreams and he had just that you know if the Bakken gallon your dream it's still important as a mom to make sure that my kids realize that.

Age is only the number and -- there's something that you love to do you need to go out and try it you need to say.

Why not not what not what if it should be why not why not do it -- a ticket methods and it.

And let me ask you a little bit about the broadly ensembles for what you guys do you usually what songs -- you usually perform.

Well we normally have.

-- It's basically like -- -- time.

-- And what's your favorite yet music these daisy like punching a day feeling -- now.

-- -- -- -- It is like much the same thing and I like -- saying it.

I actually -- broadway's I would assume also hasn't showed him some musicals -- it.

That's got to be a lot of fun and now how many members of the group usually perform with you for that song well we would in September when we did the that that's rock concert for 96 point one on Long Island we actually had about 25 -- you guys there.

And for the video we had about I could -- about another twenty as so for that video as well for the Christmas sum -- all saying on it.

So I think today we're gonna have a half of that so I -- -- is that -- -- out on Broadway on the -- most of them you know most of these children are so counted and there on Broadway now or happen at some point or another in this that I -- this year on the next year and they range from ages seven to fourteen -- -- -- mistaken.

And they're just wonderfully talented making a lot of stuff for charity and so forth so I'm honored.

And now after this after this season and that will you be performing songs from -- album and elsewhere actually I'm heading back to Nashville in January that's like my home away from home this league which is that a lot of -- his nationals really great but.

I'll be heading on to another radio tour promoting this the album some nice -- are -- -- and.
