Governor Rick Perry has also been campaigning hard and Iowa spending more than thirty days here.

And holding over 75 events governor welcome back to FOX News Sunday actress and I -- thank you -- you -- to -- register Paula got to keep talking about -- has you at 11% basically tied with Gingrich.

For fourth fleiss Heidi -- thank you -- -- Tuesday and build momentum headed in the right direction as we've traveled across the Ohio over the course of last thirty.

Days or so and I think 44 cities we're hitting in a ten day bus -- we're -- great crowds.

Again.

About people who are excited about an outsider coming in to Washington DC as we look at all the candidates you're either.

Washington insiders -- Wall Street insiders that's her choices and we tell me got a choice you get a choice of -- I governing executive.

Who for eleven years has operated thirteenth largest economy in -- the world and created more jobs than any other.

State in the nation while America lost to -- and we were creating and -- and so.

They're very interested.

And having a experienced.

Executives in the White House.

That's not only got the foreign policy.

Background but also has those social and fiscal conservative message that but -- As I say -- campaigned hard here you have spent.

Almost three million dollars on TV ads here more than any other candidate more than any other super -- and yet as I say you're in fourth or fifth place.

-- -- -- have -- to show for your.

After I think we've got a good bit to -- you know we got in the race light obviously in August and some of these folks have been run.

Four years and I would multiple times and I was so.

I think for us to come in it and over the course of the last five months to have the ground game nobody's got a better ground game nobody's got the ability.

To go past Iowa on in two these other states with fund raising with national.

Fund raising ability would the message that we have as -- -- executive.

Who is running major state -- think that is a powerful message we're gonna be able to go forward.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Reporters here in Iowa are buzzing over a story on the political website this weekend and -- your new campaign staff.

Hammers.

The group that you came in -- I don't know if you had a chance to read this but let me put some of that up on the -- There has never been a more and Napoli orchestrated just unbelievably sub -- campaign.

For president of the United States than this one.

That's what one of your senior -- that it sounds like -- laying the ground work to explain your defeats there.

-- I have -- read it but that's inside the beltway chatter that happens on a fairly regular basis.

I'm focused on campaigning in Iowa so.

I'll let the pundits have their fun and and run the numbers and quote from your -- well but it did it did it quote an individual or was it senior at a senior right so again.

Name names and then we'll have a conversation but this.

Concept of this pitch and out a story and expecting people who to believe it get any traction I think cowboys to -- it.

But is there some truth and it did you and did your staff get into this race back in August.

He said he got in light without sufficient planning without sufficient thought about.

But would take to run for president quite frankly without sufficient preparation for -- job.

Not not at all I think you know we had some bumps and grinds -- most campaigns have bumps and grinds that the issue is that the campaign is this news that.

Iowa is a great -- ground game for us and I feel very comfortable -- we're gonna do -- on Tuesday.

Wednesday morning we'll find out.

Whether or not who was right.

We will -- and as I discussed with congresswoman Bachmann you and Angie.

And Rick Santorum are all going.

For the same base of socially conservative voters I'm gonna ask the same question I asked her why should those voters caucus.

For you Tuesday night and not for Rick Santorum what at least according to the polls as has name is making this big light -- I'm not just focused on that set of voters were reaching out to everyone who wants to see America back work and again and I've got a track record of doing it lot of folks -- running here we got 63 years of collective the United States congress time and a Wall Street insider and we basically there's endless and you got a choice.

And it's not just the evangelical.

Vote which obviously.

I've got as -- a pro life messages is anybody and I don't -- talk about it I signed -- parental notification parental consent we require sonogram for.

Before a woman can get an abortion and taxes and -- find it Planned Parenthood.

This last session of the legislature in twelve abortion clinics are close now on our state because of the signing of that that's not talking about orchard candidate that is a track record of getting -- -- that you're pitch against Santorum.

You talk -- he talks you do well there's a lot of differences between myself and Rick Santorum has Michelle talked about.

He's got a spending problem.

He's got an earmark problem I mean.

Why he voted eight times to raise the debt ceiling while he was in the United States senate not yeah I'm gonna let him explain to people.

Why did you vote to raise the debt ceiling and wind was is so important for you to vote for the bridge to nowhere.

Why was it important for you to vote for Montana sheep institute.

Mean those are questions of people and I -- are gonna look at and go wait a minute you're -- -- fiscal conservative.

People are scratching their head when they hear him say that and then look at his record.

But senator Santorum because you've been making those charges this week accuses you of quote hypocrisy.

He notes that you have -- paid lobbyist for the state of Texas in Washington.

To try to get earmarks and he knows the back in 2006.

Your state government bragged about getting more than 600 million dollars -- highway earmarks than 500 million dollars in transit project so.

Again aren't sure has -- here to.

That that is the process that they put in place in Washington DC.

And I will tell -- that.

The reason that states have to go up there and play that gang is because Washington is broken.

We got a fifteen trillion dollar debt.

Because both political parties have been involved in this obvious.

Let me scratch your back.

And you scratch my back on earmarks and all they're doing -- fleecing Americans finally at less than a minute left.

But beyond -- you one of your big problems premiere ride is in in August and now.

What -- the performance in the debates what you said of the voter out there who says gee I like them -- like what he stands for but boy I can't get past -- -- I didn't -- to take a look at the debates that we've had in the last three contest in Sioux City and what have you and I think our debate performance has been.

Not only excellent but I look forward to debating Barack Obama has said the debate I'll come early.

I'm ready to debate I want -- talk about this president and his absolute failure economically foreign policy wise.

And we will take it to Barack Obama governor.
