Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast and today -- looking -- another day with temperatures actually above what's typical for this time of the year.

42 will be your high temperature over New York City forty in Boston and 45 in Philadelphia.

And not too -- -- their long interior portions of the region 43 for your high temperature in Syracuse.

And 45 degrees over in Pittsburgh now we will have some activity further off to the south across parts of Virginia also -- The DC metro area we could see a spotty showers thunderstorm but this is gonna be Mary isolated stuff and by late tonight some of that moisture could creep into parts.

Are areas further up the north across northeast so we can see some scattered light activity needing isolated snow shower too but -- -- -- gonna need very light stuff they really won't be until late Wednesday into Thursday that we're gonna have a storm system that will impact our area.

And bring widespread heavy rain in some spots along northern ports or interior parts of our region could pick up a little bit of snow especially some of the higher elevations but that should not be.

Two major of a story as far as snow -- is really going to be a big rainmaker and before that storm gets here we're gonna enjoy those mild temperatures that should be on the rise.

Tuesday into Wednesday have a great day everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina and the -- extreme weather center.
