Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest and also the midwest and -- me enjoying another relatively mild.

-- across both areas today take a look at some of your high temperatures for today across northwest.

Think before degrees over in Billings Montana and it's actually warmer than -- gonna be sitting across parts of southwestern Texas -- really enjoy this mild weather -- usual for us 48 -- and even along parts of me coast we're seeing some of those warm temperatures 44 -- -- Seattle and 47.

Over in Medford NASA had went.

Eastward we do have some of those warm temperatures as well across the midwest 42 in Minneapolis fifty in Sioux Falls 55 in north -- -- across the Great Lakes upper forties as well for the city of Chicago and also in Indianapolis Indiana now as far as any precipitation across both -- -- it's gonna be a relatively quiet day we do have a little disturbance swinging in parts of the -- -- -- Mary -- -- but again.

Relatively dry out there a lot of sunshine for parts of the Dakotas also Minnesota down into Iowa.

But as we how has -- to the Pacific northwest that's and we do have a system that's going to be swinging through.

Bringing in some light showers.

And even some light snow showers -- parts of the highest elevations they really won't be until Tuesday and Wednesday that a stronger close friends that it did -- we're bringing in some widespread snow across parts of Montana house until Idaho.

With some have having some heavier.

Batches of -- fought down into the valley floor where we could be looking at some light accumulation just a couple of inches but nonetheless.

That could be posing some travels some travel promising -- doing any driving.

And also looking at some very cold air behind that system that will dig down into parts of the upper midwest.

As we head into Wednesday and also -- -- changes in store for us but in the meantime enjoy the mild weather that we have in store for us for the start of the work week.
