In the days following the Tucson tragedy President Obama often spoke of its youngest victim.
Nine year old Christina Taylor Green.
She saw public service is something excited.
She was off to meet her congresswoman.
Someone she wasn't sure was good an important.
And might be a role model.
She saw all this through.
The -- which I want to live up to her expectations.
I want our democracy.
Could be as good as Christina imagined it.

And it was from that speech that Christina Taylor's mom got the title of her book chronicling the short but powerful life and impact of a beloved daughter.

On the day after your beloved child thinking you spoke to me.
In the first didn't you have to tell you was the toughest thing -- ever -- in my life because I could not to mention the pain you're going through and your chronicling that so wrong.

Our daughter's amazing little -- -- little kernel but shortly after she passed -- we received so many of letters and calls any -- From throughout the country with -- stories about -- wonderful things that she had to -- and McCain giving heart that she had and we didn't know.
About many of the things that she acts of kindness that she had done.
So we just -- we.
You know -- inspirational book of hope and just tell the world's what -- me how wonderful little girl that she was such was only nine years on third grade but.
That things that she did to help others were -- You read about how she wanted to be a veterinarian or a doctor a Major League Baseball career possibly was in her future after she was Beyonce is back up center and it.
But it also had this love for politics and so she went with a purpose that data -- seen congresswoman Gabby Giffords right.
She wanted to learn more about her government -- look at ten.
-- Giffords as a role model just like she looked -- to Michelle Obama and President Obama.
So she -- to go to learn more at what she can do for her local comedian and now for governments -- general.
Think this book I -- it will be so wonderful for people who've gone through immense pain in their life.
Because one of the things you talk about -- at the end this is how after all of the flurry of news people and attention that the next month February was so tough for you until you had a message from god one night.
What did god say to you that night in your dream.
We'll Cassini came to me and my dream and it was -- -- bright like me and it was her -- her beautiful face and she told me.
To be happy and not to cry or be sad because Susan -- great place and she's been taking care of and she was with my mother her -- that she adored.
And did try not to be sad anymore to be happy to move on and and that team lists that we -- other once again that was confirmation.
I'm a Christian and I believe in heaven and yes I know she's and better place but.
Just so hard to -- -- such a horrific.
Tragedy and and that just really helped our family and so many -- and one of the ways.
That -- also helping to get through the pain is setting up this foundation yes but when I saw you last -- you said that -- -- helped pay for new playground at her school.
And -- you've done something else wonderful in your hometown of Tucson what is it.
We partner with the Salvation Army and we raise over 151000.
For and you Tway sim lake's so.
Let's -- -- tank -- -- the Chanukah and Christmas gifts this season so we're really proud of that and we're gonna build intelligence theater and -- 2012 and we're just getting back to to me hope to take it nationwide.
I know you had a chance to see congresswoman Giffords recently what was to have interaction like when you see her well I was very comforting.
