All right -- new poll shows the number of people identifying themselves as independents aren't an all time high in this country but is that.
Good news for the GOP or anyone else we're back with our political panel Joseph Trippi Julie -- just -- and Mallory factor.
Now we TU first independence left side in New Hampshire.
32% the bush -- -- 30%.
Want to Ron -- 23% want to Huntsman and that number continues to be substantial almost every state from here on it it sure is.
And there's a couple of organizations.
That may have some impact and independence particularly in South Carolina one little fact that most people don't know yet is that.
All the candidates.
Other than Mitt Romney have come out in support.
Our national right to of national right to work.
Romney has not come out against it or for it hasn't answered their survey.
They're gonna play in that and they're gonna played independents -- also the Tea Party movement is very substantial.
In South Carolina State senator who for all intents and purposes leader of the -- you today.
No Tom Davis state senator a state -- and watch what he does he can be a big factor in changing things around.
As well as representative Tim Scott -- Julie would independents want and what parties better suited to give it to.
What's -- I would say the Democrats are certainly better -- against them because as you mentioned you know independence.
Are very concerned about social issues the Republicans are concerned about the concerned about health care.
Obamacare and think they're concerned about keeping Obama care for the most part -- with a poll after poll their concern about a whole host of issues.
The Democrats agree with them on -- -- -- -- Republicans and I think that's something -- news.
He met -- to know what I think I suspect that's by Robby probably is not doing some of the things that you're talking about other candidates doing.
He seems simple and we've all seen since a joke at this if that is true.
That independence for the most part don't want obamacare repealed does Mitt Romney the general election candidate should he get -- -- actually look better because of Romney care.
Well actually he yes I mean it is a way for him to actually look better for in -- -- independents because he's more like a bomb on that that is he.
But the other the thing I noticed last night it was and you look at the demographic group that Obama did well in young people.
Who -- against the war.
Who won them last night it was Ron Paul on all one -- so you're seeing this this interesting thing how does Romney get those people to come in assuming he's the nominee they may be the folks that are up for grabs and in actual.
Swing group that you -- for independents that decide this thing.
Ron Paul's got -- Not not Romney and how to in those may be the right bit Obama can get back an accident that can be a great point -- And now did you notice it in Ron Paul speech he got -- a nice things about it running tangentially.
He basically said -- listen you don't attack the free market I think it's wrong for Republicans who attacked on this issue.
I don't think he's going to be able to move those people over to Romney I really don't remember yet Gary Johnson.
Who's who's playing -- a Libertarian Party line and there's such dissatisfaction.
About Romney being the old Brett Republican Party that's really who put -- together that you may see some defections to a third party and maybe even -- -- party that seep your Tea Party years you're been talking about repealing obamacare even talking about banks and -- -- banks or pox on you know and society.
How do you support Mitt Romney how do you then turn around and say well you know what -- right -- -- get everything you wanted.
But the core of what the Tea Party stands for is something that -- -- justice not stamp court.
But don't look pretty fiscal responsibility well I don't know I mean the question is -- low taxes he's the governor Massachusetts taxes and you raise taxes in Massachusetts and that's going to be brought up and spies and hasn't been yet I don't know what I wanna -- -- Oklahoma.
Would have to leave it there sadly.
We only to have three hours left -- -- -- that -- we gotta go the Mallory Juliette Joseph thanks so much thank you.
