To be the quote true conservative in the 2012 race 29% -- Santorum.

Mitt Romney's in second place on that particular poll 15%.

As a true conservative.

Gingrich is in third at fourteen and then you've got Ron Paul.

Down the line there and Rick Perry F 5% of the palm meadows state has a record of -- being very good at picking presidential Republican presidents I should say.

Joining us out the company hires in Joseph Wilson of South Carolina he's a member of the house armed services committee welcome cars and Wilson did -- heavier today.

-- thank you -- wanted to be with you it's great daddy you know.

This is -- one of the big questions and obviously for Rick Santorum it was very helpful to him in Iowa.

That he was seen as a true conservative do you think this race is going to be tighter than it looks in South Carolina.

Well then the voters of South Carolina very receptive I'm I'm excited about that record that we have since 1980.

Every presidential primary the winner of South Carolina has gone on to be the nominee.

So I am curious about this whole Bain Capital issue we've been talking about a bear -- here.

I don't wondering how -- play is with South Carolina voters if they see his experience at being as a positive.

Or a negative or if they are sort of looking at this 28 minute documentary that was put out by the Gingrich supported super pac.

And whether that they're buying and what's in it and here's an exchange with Chris Wallace and Rick Tyler of the Gingrich super pac.

As they happen over the weekend and like -- listen to hear it.

The couple that you showed at.

Forgive me answer the couple you -- time Tommy and Tracy Jones say they got a 30%.

Raise while -- -- the plant.

And they say they were talking.

About the people who for years later shut down the -- they were not talking about Enron and also site we will -- given money to do -- and we will be glad to release the entire transcript of their -- -- you only see part of it from the film not determined they were talking about pain you can inspect color they've been talking about -- shutting down the plant when they sold the plan said a year before it was not sound like another candidate what they said was I wish -- -- had left this alone back in the early ninety's.

Yeah it was quite an interesting interview and it days and they put a lot of money to Gingrich folks into this long documentary about being -- -- a lot.

In in South Carolina how is that argument resonating with voters there.

Well we'll -- -- as I travel around people see what these service of governor Romney is creating jobs.

Bain Capital creating jobs last night as I was hearing about this issue I drove by the staples store right here -- -- And so -- I believe it's a story of creating jobs we know that not every -- can be successful.

That we also I believe and I've -- the voters here see.

Bain Capital is creating jobs.

That last time around of course Mitt -- lost to John McCain how different is the picture in South Carolina today.

In terms of what they're looking for you know unemployment numbers are high there the economy's been top -- day.

Jobs is the number one issue said -- the president's policies are failing.

His spending policies -- borrowings policies have not worked in this state.

We know that he promised.

That unemployment would not exceed 8% but sadly in South Carolina it's almost 10% -- so we need a change and that's why there's such excitement.

In the Republican presidential primary this coming Saturday.

You know last time around in the exit polling 60%.

Of the voters at exit polls describe themselves as evangelical Christians.

Eight you know how do you think they're -- -- what's most important to this group which is a huge voting bloc in South Carolina.

Well they are huge and I am one to.

And nine and and delegate from morality in government that's what it is and and -- that candidates served running.

The five -- remaining.

-- have positive attributes I also want to point out just in this community Hilton head that I represented -- Lexington.

That a vast majority the people that I've represented and who will be voting.

On Saturday.

Are actually transplants largely for the midwest in -- -- South Carolina as a composite of America.

We truly with half a million people voting this would be a very significant primary great indicator a -- -- appealed to the public.

Yep that's very interesting day takes on a Florida almost equality in that regard in some of those areas in South Carolina thank you -- -- good to see today.

Hey thank you so much -- --
