-- story -- South Carolina vote this coming Saturday in reaction to it.

Joining us now from Myrtle Beach senator Jim did -- the author of the brand new book now or never.

Saving America from economic collapse I have an important question for the senator about -- in -- moment the first quarter reply to mr.

Hart who live.

I sure do -- been here Myrtle Beach is Republicans celebrating mar third on Martin Luther King's birthday.

All all day and we had a lunch presentation Tim Scott was involved with -- our rights of I mean our history of civil rights.

Is so obvious bill it was fun to look at and -- so been so much revision.

Of this history it was fun to look it.

The fact that our party was formed a brownie coral writes for African Americans in the things we've done since then all the way up to 1964.

Both civil rights bill was was actually written by the Eisenhower administration.

An 80% of Republicans in the house and the senate voted for it to overcome.

The Democrat block in the south so.

It's time Americans know the truth about republic are usually always lead and what's more is that the Republican candidates in South Carolina have not bought.

Any air time in the black media they did not participate in the Columbia, South Carolina as a capitalist status you know of course.

In the Martin Luther King parade today they -- any of the candidates there.

And -- -- look on the surface that might look to African American voters is congress not.

When Republicans all over the state participated in MLK events on Tim Scott spoke to these economies -- the -- very very conservative black Republican congressman over so everybody else -- from Charlie yeah from he's look at the NAACP meeting today.

And who -- -- participated everywhere bill that is nonsense because we work somewhere.

Where that this car polian was for heaven's sakes that doesn't mean this is not -- you do feel that he says and any of this he would you say.

Now mr.

On Martin Luther King eve was somehow not appropriate as we pointed out very gently.

-- in 2008.

The black Congressional Black Caucus -- the same event for the Democratic Party on the same night.

I don't like this race business editor and I and we haven't thing with Bernie Goldberg -- and it's really building to a crescendo.

Romney's a white guy is a white -- around them they wanna get the blacked out and I don't like all this stuff and we saw a little bit witted out Jesse Jackson in the last 2008 South Carolina primaries were a little bit there.

So what does this all about.

Well bill I think you gonna see African Americans all minorities all Americans come together who who value freedom and prosperity.

In this election it is a critical election I think you're gonna have a lot of Americans who want more from government on one side.

-- those who realize that we don't wanna go the way of Europe on the other and that's gonna include more and more African American so.

What we're gonna do is Republicans has put our message out there -- -- freedom and opportunity.

And decentralize government.

And I think you're gonna see a lot of minorities get more involved in policy and party mean Mitt Romney looks like he's gonna win on Saturday night unless he screws up the debate tonight and on Thursday.

You agree with that.

Well at the polls indicate that he will and we'll see how the debate goes tonight we as we've seen things change a lot in these primaries in the last few days but time.

He looks real strong now on South Carolina like -- you you -- me OK -- you.

Oh yeah yeah like I really like all our candidacy well I hope I hear.

Now do I mean it tell you can't look did -- -- Huckabee is for a minute and when you get are candidates talking for five or ten minutes.

They all make a lot more sense and our current president now you look now -- -- the it's an economic thing it's for people who are serious about government that -- what they don't want you to explain in sixty seconds to me if you can.

The Federal Reserve -- different than a lot of money.

All right and it's a lot of it is to pay the interest on a massive fifteen trillion dollar debt we -- People I don't even understand what they just print money and then they throw out there's out of the door.

Well the Federal Reserve has bought more than half of our debt there is more than just -- in our interest they bought more than half of our -- over the last two years.

If they hadn't you would have seen our interest rates go up a lot more.

Because more and more bill it's going to be hard for us to sell our debt as countries like China realize we don't have the capability to pay it back.

So when we when we print money we invite inflation and we -- so so good -- and the Federal Reserve Bank buys the debt all right.

And end of the US government's actually paying the bag.

This is if it goes right.

Well who have -- we owe the money actually buoyed by two intermediaries because it's illegal for the Federal Reserve actually -- -- -- what is really we have Giuliani law who Indian media.

Would just.

This of the big Wall Street bankers I mean they make tons of money also selling American Dad! and so the money goes through them Federal Reserve buys it it's on their balance sheet.

And it just doesn't make any sense.

We've just got to wake up that's what now are members about that we never been at this place and on and -- Where oh where -- -- larger than our economy and we plan to double in the next ten well there's problem is that it's so complicated senator so that's why I want people who read your book because you've got.

It's -- complicated.

And people just don't get what we're we're going and it's dangerous we appreciate you coming on thanks.
