Welcome everyone I'm just asking producers can put back up the Oscar nominations that just.

Came out so we can dissect them a little bit more.

All right and digest them too we went through them so quickly I don't even -- -- how many coming best picture nominees are there there there are a lot it seemed like ten didn't it.

Our last guest to right Murdoch was just asking me if -- -- gonna do ten again this year and I said kicking -- ten -- they do more or less your for the first time maybe I think.

Party a deal was they were trying to broaden it because so few people go to movies these days it's like okay if we make the net a little wider throw a little -- Chances are that the people would it will have seen them and then watch the show are so let's see how many of these we've seen OK okay artist.

Haven't seen it at NC is not one of silent.

It's yeah there it is right there.

-- I want to see this it has gotten a lot of really good publicity.

Okay -- that may tuition to health.

Amazing movie that is meant yeah it's terrific it's -- so in fact of -- That we're about to announce I think that coat but it ties with another one that's coming up.

For my -- OK I love that went to Hugo I did not see that there's at a Martin Scorsese film that is.

Animated live action kinda like.

Jessica Rabbit or whatever what was -- and then moving -- -- Roger Rabbit Roger Rabbit.

The jets where they have both at the same time.

-- next up.

-- descendants which is a tragic tale story you know George Clooney.

I haven't seen because people tell me it's too depressing it's it's actually great it's really great.

He needs is a depressing story because the entire stories -- wife dying now but it's great because it shows how he has.

Is able to pull his family together the -- -- three all out war -- now I know we had that nice gentleman that young actor in the film who was spotted by Steven Spielberg and said you're the guy for the part.

But I haven't seen I have seen it it's two and a half hours long I would say that war horse and -- help are my two favorites in fact if I had to guess I would say the war horse.

Is the best movies into -- and so beautiful and I took my kids and they said.

That they each cried about ten times during the movie and they both came out they said that's the best movie ever seen a bigger than twice.

Like they're gonna Harry Potter -- -- kids says that it must be bag that's true midnight in Paris I did see that very kind of eclectic.

Artsy kind of a movie I don't think -- -- win I didn't like him at all the tree of life have no idea what that is that was okay.

Moody's and they start noticing that missing people to go to movies anymore use thank you listen my kids during college.

I got a lot of movies then.

-- money ball.

I'm a little biased because I know Billy -- and so he's the character that this was based on I thought that this was.

A good movie and I'm not necessarily Brad Pitt fan and I thought it was it kept me interest I have.

Not seen that we almost watch it on pay per view last night.

And the final one and this is a movie that is still being promoted it's extremely loud and incredibly close you know Tom Hanks.

And he is.

You see a lot of those -- Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock and believe along with the kid and and she sees the aftermath through her window -- airplanes crash into the Twin Towers.

Tom Hanks is there doesn't make it back and its story of how they pick up.

-- through the child who has like a form of autism it's gotten a lot of criticism though for the number one for for doing a movie about nine elevenths.

Number two because apparently nowhere in the entire script does anyone under the word terrorism.

-- is that right yeah it's just sort of there's a steadying editorial on this movie in the New York Post a couple days ago that I.

That I read I don't I don't wanna see it so it so.

Maybe it's a new Yorker feeling that you why do you want to read this that you know I don't know I don't wanna go live that pain again so I'm not gonna see that movie but maybe.

There's a different sentiment across the rest of the country.

Yeah I mean if you wanna go to movies because -- some great fun that you haven't lived a million times like we have -- -- meanwhile let's say take a look at best actor nominees George Clooney from the descendants there you can see.

Her own look we laugh fancy graphics and Brad Pitt money ball.

And giving the -- and and just went ahead in the artist Andy -- did in the -- A better life and I can say this when Gary Oldman tinker -- so there's like I did see that movie.

I -- he was nominated him.

If he barely -- anything in the entire movie is and you had a good sort of stoic -- through a lot of it.

Movie and I heard the book was actually fantastic.

I think it was a better -- potentially the movie was so hard to follow.

Aren't about.

All right -- mullets turn our attention now to the women in the race in the category best actress Glenn Close nominated for Albert no sipping a picture of her as Albert not sentencing them.

It's -- that's the stuff.

-- we -- at that it.

I think Michael Davis for that helps -- is fantastic that is that is a great great great movie.

Actually terrific also run Marie -- bigger row with the dragon tattoo -- -- -- that these.

Now that I've seen a lot of pictures of her with what was stabbed to death and that you're using these -- speak and it's here again Meryl Streep the iron lady.

Fantastic movie every single young person in America every person in America should see this movie talk about inspiring learning a few good lessons.

And Michelle Williams star of my week with Maryland she -- out categories.

Best actress in a movie from Hollywood she was fantastic in this it's kind of an artsy -- different -- films like com did you see this -- -- It's it's actually extremely entertaining and it sort of an inside glimpse into what it was like to be Marilyn Monroe fascinating if she really encompasses something.

Marilyn Monroe I think I just -- -- the days of real movie stars and and all the problems sleep and -- still come along with -- keep them from sponsors on the leading edge of the whole shebang.

Yup so anyway that's that's that's the Academy Awards I think that when ended actually broadcasts Leanne Taylor and so.

March usually first week in March -- think.

Just a guest.

Anyway that's our report live from Hollywood think -- remarked you're filming your actor and actress were nominated yes.

We'll see and.
