Agree.
Disagree and let's discuss those -- the multiple choice options commonly given to President Obama.
At the end of major policy memos from his staffers encouraging the president to circle or check I -- One and in indicating what -- -- to do.
And according to new Yorker's Ryan -- and a new piece that he has and this is power play where we want you to check our box and watch us here on foxnews.com.
And we -- still joined by Charlie hurt from The Washington Times columnist -- on tour icon classic conservative.
It's Federer etc.
we thank you for being with us.
And in fact.
The president tonight is gonna come forward Charlie with a obviously.
Policy ideas ranging from a buffet rule to force rich people to pay more taxes.
That -- in their income from.
Investments in all of these other things he's going to cast himself as a Washington outsider with ideas to shake things up right.
-- and and you know it's interesting because the you know the past twelve months we've seen him sort of over reaches his powers.
And and sort of dismiss congress left to right and we've just Albany asked about it.
But he's clearly.
And I think you've nailed it in -- -- our -- weren't.
He's good he's he's actually he's an eager for that he's gonna -- -- that and he's gonna say yes that's right.
I do do these things I'm sorry but you know what you people are so awful and so in -- right I am the.
Team owner myself I trying to help my it's the most it's the Michael has got its -- got defense I can I help it if I care too much I -- -- -- I just I I wanna get something on the let's let's talk to somebody against -- the president do will probably be invading tonight congressman Bob give us.
He -- -- -- a wide -- Sort of -- Easter and his central Ohio.
Congressman thanks for being with us today.
I'm glad to be here person -- are.
Okay good good good now you are aside from being a farmer you are a member of the United States House of Representatives and tonight.
President Obama is expected to an -- your chamber and deliver pretty fiery denunciation.
What you guys have done.
And that you are preventing him from fixing things in this country.
How -- you guys going to respond.
Well I like to see the president come and talk about the 35 cars and jobs bills and we -- our house.
And for the senator and urge the senate to consider those bills we get this economy going to be back to work just as -- -- -- leadership.
And right now.
As far as as far as this issue the only thing that we're we're very clear on is that we know that the president is going to come out with what he calls the Buffett rule.
He's going to have Warren Buffett's secretary.
Sitting in the box the presidential box with his wife.
-- comes on the same day as -- erstwhile Republican front runner Mitt Romney is releases tax returns.
Saying that he -- -- a 15% -- a little less than 50% rate.
And the president's gonna come out and say that he thinks nobody oughta be paying taxes so low especially somebody.
That learn so much money that gets so much money each year.
How do you think that's a good idea or a bad idea.
Not what I would take percent Washington -- -- taxes from -- spending problem if you look back historically when they raise taxes they -- it.
And we've got to get our spending under control and before -- -- doing raising taxes on our families and our job creators.
And the so called buffer Roy you know one thing that they could do if he wants secretary.
To pay a lower rate he used they in the -- -- itself.
Apple gains and dividends tax which is given -- -- -- that you have it's.
Everything they couldn't put her in the first lady's box isn't until midnight on new music he was bad news bad -- OK now I know you guys can make a Lotta rhetoric that's right.
So you guys have a lot of work to do everything ranging from FAA reauthorization.
The extension of the table this -- security payroll tax holiday.
All sorts of work.
Lays ahead.
Is there a concern -- in a very rancorous.
Very partisan and in the environment which I suspect we'll get worse after tonight's -- that we're hoping that we're headed for impasse in gridlock.
I think we're gonna move -- the FAA -- and and -- that's certainly there -- -- -- -- -- highway transportation -- to move -- that.
Afraid alive jobs and invest in American infrastructure by -- out by our sport -- I think what we really need to do the president to do is pick up front thirty bills.
Make the senate consider them and they and then just of those bills this there's -- things that -- -- economy moving.
This is we've got to get our spending under control let's -- at our debt and deficits don't like what point get over the job traders -- good things going.
We -- concentrated toward reform.
And we have kept tax reform -- our families and our job creators and we have senator energy policy that encourages responsible development.
-- all natural resource -- in this country.
And along with that he's -- reconsiders -- Keystone Pipeline decision because that's what jobs are.
There are are there to happen it's from stimulate the economy it's gonna help -- -- We have less dependent on foreign energy sources knew he came -- -- September.
Instead we got a pass these things to American people can't wait we can't wait well we can't wait to get the keystone pipeline and other initiatives done -- -- -- Get this coming don't get -- back war.
OK congressman we're very grateful lived we may do you make time for us this they had all the folks until -- -- before it's okay.
Okay thanks but they would be okay all right Charlie hurt he congressman gives mention the Keystone Pipeline.
And do we suspect that governor Mitch Daniels.
One on one of the one of these -- -- in the Republican stable of potential a white knights.
This -- good to hear that from him.
Oh I think absolutely and it's it's a great.
-- -- -- but I still can't I never -- have cannot comprehend why President Obama made.
That decision if it seems to me it is it is.
It can hurt very badly politically on somebody different levels and I don't think -- really be I don't think that it -- a whole lot of -- in that heat but he.
He -- arm he stiff -- the environmentalists a number of times.
Didn't give them what they want in this and in the republicans' turn this into a symbol into the by doing something relatively small for them it looked like a big deal.
Yeah I guess but I don't I don't know that it wins them back.
From some of the other -- some of the other things that he's done that that we had that we're really very far reaching.
Defeat for environmentalists.
And every bit with this but this that the real.
And and immediate.
The fever that it.
Puts on on job creation and and energy independence and things like that -- it just seems like.
Real tactical error.
On his part that that I I don't I still can't quite.
-- well certainly some governments must be applies here as he gets ready to you he wants to continue to demonstrate that he is doing battle that he is lot locked in this eternal struggle.
With the house Republicans.
But it's it's almost like it's almost like saying oh yes -- I'm the superhero I will act by not acting.
You know it -- -- you know killing what what the deal real.
I think a real boon for for the economy and the -- -- makes no sense to me.
-- -- when -- aspect for the president tonight is to establish himself not as taught not.
Rehashing.
The first two years you know as Bill Clinton was able to do it in 1996 say look well yet after a rocky start and then we had some successes and now we're building on those things I suspect that what you're gonna hear from the president tonight.
It is.
Reset let's start over we have we have -- -- you know we're -- -- we've learned some things and now now we can go for.
But isn't the big difference between Clinton and Obama is that Clinton he he learned from his mistakes and and they changed him.
And made him a better stronger politician -- any any any fed off of those those mistakes and his -- this doesn't change.
He's not really changing his positions on things he's he is the exact -- he's he's not gonna become -- more moderate.
President after after the first you know.
-- two years I just and then I think that -- -- bodes poorly for him and for for Democrats and.
