They still is a Bill O'Reilly and Kelly file segment tonight as you may know the Occupy Wall Street people.
The camping out on federal land -- Washington DC have been for months that maybe gets a loss to the head of the National Park Service was called to testify in front of a house committee.
My new job.
As -- a 35 year veteran of the National Park Service is to protect the individual's rights under the First Amendment.
When each protest what -- -- to -- quite -- -- to protect their rights under the First Amendment.
Is it not also your job to enforce the wall.
Absolutely it's my job is it against I all the camp the courts have afforded us a great deal of discretion and how we enforce the law and order to protect the First Amendment.
In that analyze attorney and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly -- -- the Occupy Wall Street people in DC breaking the law person.
Technically yes they -- okay.
So technically losses no camping out without a permit are handling that's that that's the distinction of its -- -- protest that's one thing if it morphs into camp being.
That's another saying.
And this I mean -- that let me back.
What appears that in our innovative they've been living there for like six months yes and is no question that the National Park Service has the authority to kick -- out okay so.
The congressman who was quizzing the national park director is correct he isn't not upholding the letter of the law he's not.
He does have some discretion but if -- if -- camping chronically as they have been that it's clear he has the authority kick them out.
He wants he says he wants to be careful because you don't want to kick out one group.
And not kick out another group that's -- in the beginning when they started -- camp that was one thing he says and what he had reason that I'm pushing it then become an on line in any event.
Oxygenate their cry as though which is -- -- -- very major to occupy okay.
That's rationalizations.
It's BS it's dumb I can shred that guy -- -- -- -- -- -- you're much more courageous.
What I'm concerned about is the letter of the law okay he has all right if.
He has what he has the right to -- -- right.
But if he doesn't kick them out which he isn't that opens up the door for every outfit to camp out on every point.
Of the national park system under the guise of protest well especially now because now they get now.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Me initiated her different and he doesn't -- so there's no precedent for allowing the protesters to camp overnight in -- -- and on.
Very familiar with this because I had a run in with one of these Kooks all right there right in the middle attack -- okay.
The UK all.
Get around the court ended they admits and the neighbors are really upset well -- outnumbering the brackets even yeah I'm rests drugs.
All right.
They had a sanitary problem they had their best and hops are under siege there and it's cost the taxpayers one point six million dollars in cleanup costs I say we have the fire this national park Stewart and now look -- guy who'll listen that guy is now going to enforce the law now.
Now yes now sees it that embarrass.
He's going to start ticketing people and I'm gonna do a forcible evacuation he has excellent -- -- get all that ticket was it you have to be somewhat open minded on this -- on -- yet nobody to protest saying is at the heart of America and what Americans do listen -- you do underground lab -- in now would you feel differently if this was a budget pro life I don't care it's really yet.
Really yet yet yeah okay I -- that I've admired it he said don't I want you got -- -- -- thwarts him law or get out he's not.
Violating the law by giving them a pass he nodding his discretion -- out for the full well now he's about to OK now they're gonna get an ass.
It's Chicago all right budget teenagers beat up an Asian is a rivalry of some -- let's roll the tape on this and -- not yet public police and Chicago -- -- teenagers beat up.
And Asian teen -- -- they -- had -- on that earlier it's of course videotape by some girl goes on the Internet.
The father sees it.
Turns his own son -- father of one had one out we literally take.
Event.
There's six others that are about -- if there's details we know -- they can go to school.
Soon could be allocated about what's -- one person has to go and his education done to.
That's because the kid was seventeen charge an adult than the others are minors and.
And they didn't get the charges that the seventeen year old right that's right as -- silly right so the one guy he's in law enforcement thirty years that father he sees his his kid is the one who's -- came off.
So -- you easily identifiable and he calls up and turns his own son and right.
But now under Illinois law that if you're seventeen you get charged as an as an adult automatically -- a 100000 dollar -- 100000 I can't make it.
The process you know he can't come close to right the prosecutor charged it as first degree robbery and -- aggravated -- Bob battery.
An aggravated -- robbery.
And that means -- his -- is facing two to five years on each charge a 100000 dollars -- the others are are in -- -- And basically facing a suspension for so they got them all but because they're under seventeen they wouldn't be punished nearly as much as this you know I kind of feel for the death I didn't I kind of -- but he did the right thing he did the right -- this kid could have been killed.
He could have been killed it and if you watched the whole three of four minute tape -- how terrific it is so much more horrifying -- -- clip you just showed sadistic.
On cold for the father do the right thing.
But he asked to support his son you know I just had to say this in a -- your parents thinking about this -- it helps if he would reach out if you reach out of the prosecutor and talk about how.
Maybe to charge the case prior to that he -- -- doesn't damage negotiated -- lawyer -- okay good advice.
