Controversial new health care law that could cost our campaigner in chief the Catholic vote come November.

Now bishops are fired up over the new Obama care related rules that now force Catholic schools hospitals and charities.

To provide insurance for their employees.

And that's covering contraception and other certain medical procedures that now violate church teachings.

At a white house of course denies any wrongdoing insisting that it -- struck.

They quote appropriate balance between faith and pharmaceuticals.

-- former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin she's not buying it in fact she points out in a brand new FaceBook posting that.

If this is how the anointed one is repaying the Catholic University of Notre Dame for sponsoring.

He is -- honorary degree and commencement address.

-- the faithful have been made to look like fools joining me now with more on this the author of the New York Times number one best seller culture of corruption.

By the way we're hoping volume two is out soon.

Michelle Malkin.

Like Twitter about this all the time at Michelle Malkin -- Back that I guess you'd have to get it out of my next book I don't know -- I just -- I wanna done before Election Day.

I think it's important job and I actually wanna ask you question about that in a minute but first.

This is really important.

Because whatever out of the free exercise thereof.

These -- the government.

Demands.

Will insist that the Catholic Church Catholic institutions.

Literally do something and provide something.

That contradicts there they're deeply held religious religious beliefs they asked for an exemption they only got -- from one year.

What does it mean for the election and what does -- mean in general.

Well I think this is an unprecedented and unwarranted intrusion on religious liberty.

And you have the -- all of this White House and this president today.

To be pitching a homeowner's bill of rights that's what their latest -- candy is for the campaign trail.

And I think a lot of us who have been following.

This war on religious liberty.

Wish that this president would simply follow the original bill of rights and -- -- first amendment rights of these religious health care providers.

And even among would be that Catholic community alone there are more than a million.

Who worked in Catholic health care services who are being affected by this.

And I do not for one minute believe all of these dinosaur feminists who are casting this as some sort of compassionate government program.

That it's going to provide.

Free quote unquote or cheap.

Access to contraceptives.

That's not what this is about as the Becket fund which is a wonderful non profit group that is representing.

Many of these and employers and schools that are being discriminated against by the a bit at -- Obama administration points out.

This isn't about access to anything this is about.

Forcing an abortion mandate down the throats of religious people whose.

Consciences are being violated and that the -- that the whose church teachings are being steamrolled by this administration this is a long war.

-- and it's been going on since practically day one of the Obama administration.

That they've been targeting these.

Religious health care they provide so they want from us they will force this of people that are Catholic these Catholic institutions they will force them.

To provide contraception.

Which violates their religious faith and the morning after -- violation of their religious faith.

There will force them to provide it or what.

They risked jail for practicing that deeply held religious views they they face a fine.

You know who knows where eventually this goes if this is allowed to be the law of the land -- this that this -- -- on them.

That's right and -- -- point out my column today and at that point it out in the past.

When they were watching this war.

In coordination with the likes of the American Civil Liberties Union a look at union and a lot of these.

Other liberal feminist groups and and and progressives this is not just an issue that affects Catholics and that is why you're seeing.

Protestants.

And Jewish groups and people of all -- understanding that everybody is under threat here.

Now it has to be said that there are many liberal Catholic bishops who didn't see this coming who should have.

And they were some of the very vocal proponents of Obama apparently first place took a couple of years ago and now they -- learning it very hard lesson yes error that the promises of this administration -- and well I guess better late than never they -- -- learners.

I am I agree and there were people like myself that we're telling people did you you're not reading this while and then I know people give you were doing the same thing right now.

It was interesting when you're on the program -- we get some you know we had uninteresting discussion.

And some people interpreted it that we were fighting somehow I would -- fighting.

And we -- -- really disagree I disagree a little bit -- But since that time you have come out and you said you -- for Rick Santorum actually wrote a really good column and defensive -- Why did you -- why did you settle on Rick Santorum.

I get and I I don't feel that I'm I'm settling I I actually feel -- that I didn't mean it that way of right right right that this is at a very strong and viable candidate in the GOP field.

Who represents and who can -- put together I think a very reaganesque coalesced.

Coalition and he certainly is doing it here in Colorado.

I saw him earlier today he's bringing out a lot of fiscal conservatives social conservatives.

And strong national defense and border security.

Conservatives who are endorsing him and you understand.

That it's not just.

The GOP establishment.

That has objections to both Mitt Romney.

-- Newt Gingrich infected there are.

-- hundreds of thousands if not millions of grassroots Tea Party types.

You have a lot of reservations about both the moral baggage and ideological baggage.

Of these flip flop -- both -- and -- on quarter.

Policy issues and I think that's what Rick Santorum has done really well let me ask you this should be issues here.

Environment -- is never dabbled in need to -- go radical ideas that both -- and -- -- -- running -- -- -- -- how to carry me like.

I've -- -- this is important question.

Because he won Iowa.

He lost New Hampshire South Carolina and Florida.

The Nevada caucuses on Saturday.

-- wide open does he -- to win another race or have really good showings.

To prove -- to make the point that he was making last night that he shouldn't be called the conservative alternative it's it's if you believe in that Romney non Romney's narrative.

He's running a completely grassroots campaign here he was able to race more than a gazillion dollars -- January.

Of course CN and I think he will here in Colorado the turnout and the poll numbers the latest PPP were results.

In Missouri and Ohio Colorado all look very good for him he says he is in its its -- And dumb and I think that he's got a lot of momentum a lot of buzz a lot of people realizing as I said before -- as -- as I said last week on another fox show.

That they have an alternative and people do not have to accept that -- and news is it.

All right Michelle always good to see you and by the way it's at Michelle Malkin on Twitter -- Sean Hannity on Twitter and we have a lot of fun.

Gone back and forth and he'll join the discussion and thanks -- meanwhile us.

And coming up from.
