As conservative who lost -- we listen to the voices who said that we had to abandon our principles.

And our values.

To get things done to win.

-- we hear those same voices today that we have to.

Learn our lesson.

That we should know a lot that we that we need to.

Compromise.

Do what's what's politically reasonable.

And go out and push someone forward who can win.

There okay.

That.

His former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum telling the conservative audience here at C -- No compromise.

Don't pick on electability follow your heart and this is -- replied I'm Chris star -- were coming to you live.

From inside the Woodstock of the right wing this is the conservative political action committees.

Annual big deal than they have right here in Washington.

And it is our great good fortune that we get to be here today we're going to have.

A lot of great guests as the program goes on behind -- -- here currently senator Jim in office talking he was and you should -- this well Internet introduced to Leonard Skinner so anybody who's doing -- you know they need it.

And we're gonna talk later.

We're gonna talk to a pair of congressman who were big leaders in this movement here we're gonna talk to Allen west he's a Tea Party Republicans and from down in Florida.

And we're going to talk you.

Tea Party Republicans about Iowa's Steve case that would be -- cross gonna talk Saturday night -- Victoria Jackson you remember her she's gonna join us we're gonna answer the question whose money you're liberals or conservatives we're gonna do all of that.

But first let's get a little perspective on the subject -- our friend Bradley.

Minutes on our movement here -- in the world.

Conservatism and Republican.

So -- we heard Rick Santorum you have.

I'm on apologetically.

Conservative speech and -- the thousands here don't settle.

Don't do anything less -- following your heart and picking a conservative choice.

Sort of -- counterintuitive argument -- for a guy who can't do anything lingering concern we saw on the Fox News poll out today.

That even people who support him a lot of them don't think he's got situated to beat Barack Obama now.

How is this gonna play out.

This is gonna play out because I think as people go into the -- -- to meet their caucuses they're gonna start thinking about electability.

-- start thinking about it too.

Two stage process selection of the candidates and election of the individual to go against incumbent president.

I think santorum's had a great message whether that message is one that people feel it is gonna carry the day it remains to be seen.

But certainly now as I look at it it's a two person race between Santorum or Romney I think I think -- -- Gingrich.

I don't think there's anything but I think he's on his -- to life and I -- only have nine I don't know what the trump -- going to be of course we have a debate.

We haven't often what we haven't made and in the Fox News that I represented today Gingrich and -- are tied now Gingrich is going the wrong direction and since we're doing the right direction.

We do have another -- and there are caucus votes coming in from Maine tomorrow.

Very small appear out of place then as we saw even in small numbers you can drive momentum from that -- -- injuries and then they go to an Arizona and have a big debate before -- -- -- there so there's a lot of space still here tonight in this era since.

And there's a lot of times we have the biggest time difference between -- caucus period which gives Santorum a village to raise money to organize but remember.

If you look at the states that -- winner.

They have to come back to the in the general state -- -- -- -- Florida.

And and and he called -- the most important event and Nevada.

He's gonna need in general yeah so he's winning states that are not necessarily for the states to win.

So in the power play today -- -- -- -- and we -- you can follow me at disease firewall.

You can talk to be there I would love to hear from new Internet always.

And I it's also available on Fox News dot compact -- politics are on the power play today that Mitt Romney in his strategic decision to contest all of these bonuses.

And the non binding primary -- -- -- no delegates are being awarded.

It has left him looking like a loser before I mean he if he loses in Maine he could lose to Ron Paul and a half.

So if that would happen he'd have four consecutive losses.

The good news is bad and as we pointed out.

He didn't have a battle plan that was announced that he.

People could have said well it's understandably while this is this is what he shows -- to -- he would do that so by not doing it it looks like he was never competitive to Begin with -- but now -- -- to double down on Arizona and Michigan and Michigan and as you know it's proportional.

Yeah that's his home state yeah but Arizona's winner take all yeah.

Important immigration should be our issue he should be down on the border he should be.

Usually -- for the debate by having advanced Arizona's need something to the.

Now when John McCain was in the similar -- was similarly situated.

Of course McCain had the advantage you won in South Carolina and Florida as well as an -- -- three state wins in a row big business.

Primary states -- he made an intentional -- I'm not gonna win.

Sydney caucus delegates that are up there and I'm not going to consistently you know he said the Mitt Romney -- -- your father.

-- you're not getting any delegates -- you can go up there and you can win but I'm going to be focused on the next big states and why didn't Romney do that.

Because Romney thought -- he would be able to compete.

Without competing and did announce his position.

So that the press knew what it was his his positions work where he was gonna -- you -- better worry whether -- show them that pathway that he chooses to nomination when you don't do that.

And it looks like.

It was a part of your plan to Begin with and you overreacting go the other way but as you point out -- -- -- -- before -- -- a captain in a row were consecutive loss is that it's.

It's going under that's gonna take it's -- and something like Santorum then can feed off his inability to remain front car.

No it's wild as well I don't think that -- I disagree here.

A political hot topic he's sorry about my regret that this is the cannon ball run primaries -- -- And only missing genius Paula and she got in home 11 were to either one spot but -- -- now there isn't big enough and Newt Gingrich of course would be John believe she's here I didn't know they say when they -- did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

-- yeah exactly are granted I'm Brad Blake meant an advisor to both bushes.

A very successful.

Republican strategist a professor at Georgetown University -- Pretty big deal we appreciate you being with us -- I like thanks a lot.
