One of the movie stars now -- and Miller -- this good evening now -- Good evening -- How how does critics say I think -- the -- is amazing the LA times referred to it is glorious.
But let me how how hard is it to tell a story.
On the big screen without.
Without sound.
Well it's surprisingly very easy.
I think that people are reluctant and scared to go see a silent movie because they're not used to -- but.
This movie works so well that they think once -- in the audience and your five minutes into the -- you forget that it's a silent film because it's a great story.
And it's so entertaining and moving an uplifting -- -- that.
People just get caught up with it and it's really exciting because sound I think people are really surprised.
That they're having such a good experience watching the -- found.
Well I suppose said dad is innocent and natural free yeah you start out and theater and and -- -- -- Broadway NN -- some movies and TV and they weren't chaplain.
But when the movie was it when the script is brought to did did you jump -- -- think.
-- I don't think sound.
Well I mean I thought it was bizarre.
And it's certainly in 2011.
I I couldn't believe some I was making a black and white silent film set in the -- -- mean obviously did chaplain.
And we Rick reenacted some of the movies of chaplains -- -- a little bit of silent acting but not the entire found.
So it was definitely Don King and I know my agent.
With a little bit apprehensive to bring it to me and said that a lot of actors.
Were reluctant to do that found because they think they were scared or intimidated about the thought of doing a -- -- not sure that anyone would go see it of course I'm sure now they're kicking themselves.
And I'm but there's just no way to predict that this would be happening to the found that we'd be.
You know having ten Oscar nominations and -- Golden Globe and and the sag awards and you know it's just very very exciting but I think it's a testament to our director Michel has and other issues.
But I could barely pronounce his name.
And then to leave to nobody knows until now.
And he just he just made an incredible found and it just -- it just working on all on all cylinders so.
What -- credit what do you mean to be up for ten Oscars have blackened might salad and it really is taking in every you know the country by -- storm -- -- it's it's it's a phenomenal idea that they don't image.
And going to be -- -- is it really is the one debate.
Well you know that's very kind of you to say I mean we're in great company and -- we're just.
I know it sounds cliche we're so honored.
T even be part of the conversation.
I mean it takes for -- like this it takes a lot to get people to go and so.
These awards in these accolades mean a lot to us because people -- typically running out to see a silent film.
So the more buzz we get the better.
So we're really excited and we're very grateful.
And I should add that it was all shot -- the United States are shot in how literally land in Hollywood as well and debt which is very good for the people work there and that you know wasn't taken overseas -- could be done a lot cheaper proudly so left.
Is good -- for people to go see and -- good Locke asks and I think you sound lacks thank you for having me.
