The movie is receiving awards and accolades from all over Hollywood even without uttering a word.

It's a silent film it's the artist.

And it's up for best picture at this year's Academy Awards -- joining us now one of the stars of the movie Penelope and Miller good morning you know didn't.

So fascinating how many accolades this movie is receiving despite as we mentioned not a single word being -- how is this silent film resonating.

I just think the main reason instant classic I mean.

It's just it's uplifting it's joyful it's a feel good movie it's got a great story and believe it or not you can understand what's going on without hearing -- speak.

We are speaking to each other but you're really getting.

The sense of what's going on with the music and the beautiful.

Visuals and the fountain and the expressions of course and the dog and it's just.

It's just joyful it really is and I'm so proud and we of course have no idea that a pilot felt would be making.

-- -- -- -- -- And here we are you know ten Oscar nominations incredible.

What -- risk at this day and age of big blockbusters.

With sound effects -- yeah a silent movie.

As -- is it easier to get a silent -- when you don't have lines to member honest.

Scary because you don't want to over act and you don't wanna make a fool of yourself but you also wanna be authentic to the period and but we're really telling have been the story sort of relevant in terms it's we wanted to tell -- modern day movie but it just -- at a different time it's it's a love story.

It's about success and failure it's about an economic crisis -- the depression and his career fails and -- love brings them back again so all things are incredibly relevant.

It just happens to be second the golden age of Hollywood which was most glamorous time of course the live in Hollywood have for me I got to play dress up and pretend -- was.

Women of that era.

So it's a lot of fun and and it's just it's it's it's a testament to great film making -- -- our director just cast this movie so beautifully we actually active development in Hollywood and it's of the nine movies that are nominated it's the only found that was actually felt so funny -- -- got to give actors and crews in Hollywood some jobs and help.

Stimulus -- I had to take you back 25 years -- I think -- be your first movie ever made one of my favorites going up with the adventures in babysitting.

If you want it five years ago that your biggest hit would be now.

I live well right well you might -- about young lady have been thinking.

I mean I was -- merit and that I can't believe we recognize me hopefully you cannot buy content.

But you know it's funny because Chris Columbus.

-- the director and that was his first found.

And now he's the producer on how so we're and we're competing -- -- But that -- -- We -- do that with a lot of that's nice he's -- then meteoric rises in those 25 years yeah.

-- he has certainly you know mine mine's got my very much like this character in the movie I've gotten up and down and up and and -- had a family.

That's great runners successful throughout now the end all of the movie of course is the -- to go check it outs at thanks so much for yeah and you've got to have seen it will I want to do that -- did all day I lose some -- -- -- in an ambulance that it and it made their hearts -- -- You can have your heart sore that's a terrific and I'm thinner and I -- -- yeah.
