-- Super Tuesday may be almost three weeks away that voting is already underway in three out of the ten states that are holding primaries that today.

That includes a battleground state of Ohio.

Early voting in Ohio began on January 31 -- some of those -- already baked in the cake.

Although we don't know how they turned out of course Steve Brown joins me live now.

And the state capital Columbus.

State there's some new polls that show that Rick Santorum looking pretty strong -- -- -- -- Yeah new quinnipiac poll shows that santorum's at 36 and Romney at 29.

There's been scant amount of polling.

So far in this day and certainly this Santorum numbers -- him up on top is making a growing legion of Santorum fans.

Here and there were amongst Ohio Republicans very happy.

But those folks who haven't seen Santorum yet he -- -- In this state yet are also just a little bit leery.

Romney has a lot of money and I'm sure the attacks are gonna escalate now that Santorum is you know that the conservative alternative.

I think those attacks are gonna.

Then increase.

And that has been that -- -- that has been the pattern when somebody has risen up the flavor of the month if you will pattern in the Republican primary there Romney campaign and its pro Romney super pac.

Have been out there -- two if you will try and hammer down the insurgents mark them.

Here's the weird thing about that Martha -- it if it weren't for the fact that early voting was going on right now you'd be hard pressed to know that there was a really important primary come on -- coming up in less than three weeks away very low key kind of campaigning going on around here.

End of folks are a little bit.

Dismayed by this and and asking a lot of questions have -- It doesn't seem to sort of anecdotally watching how things at play on the ground.

That there's a lot of momentum going for anyone can -- at this point.

And they expect things -- start heating up rather quickly here this is the biggest prize contested prize coming up on Super Tuesday.

Still awful quiet here less than three weeks out.
