He was able to see what people were really like.
Beyond their politics I don't know if that was always obvious in public but he had friends who passionately disagreed with them -- including some people.

And I wanted to I remember meeting him on numerous occasions and every conversation -- -- with.
He was full of life and full of opinion and full of something -- said almost to the point or I could get a word in with our guys thought about Dick -- Right well let me not let you know I'm a talker and I you know I like -- get -- -- than most people that -- part of the few people -- you -- be -- -- the need to I didn't really feel it needs to talk too much because.
He was so completely.
Entertaining and and truly I would say.
Had a down not just saying this because of the tragedy and mean it with total since -- really one -- more generous people.
I've ever known and helped us a lot we started -- -- a couple years ago not unlike his he didn't feel.
Competitive it didn't seem to me was just nice to us from day one and helpful to us from day one and just a great friend.
And and it just just a terrific terrific person who really loved -- kids and his wife.
And -- I just can believe this is true interest and is birthday.

The formation of of how he got to where he got in terms of his passion for conservative politics.

And basically extort -- one another grew up next to each other.
Everybody kind of liberal and it's the westside of Los Angeles -- liberal and Andrew was a liberal I think all the way through his time at Tulane.
And and then Begin to see internal contradictions with liberal as nine basically I think you know if you grow up around.
The kind of over weaning.
Monochromatic left wing.
Activism that he did you know gets -- -- and he was the kind of person who was not afraid to say you know I dissent I disagree and waited he.
Take a lot of heat for that I mean on a very personal level people you know college roommates he had.
I would no longer speak to him.
Relatives here -- some very liberal relatives a lot of them the C zooming close to that some of them.
Were really put off by his politics I mean it's not easy to -- -- politics on the westside of Los Angeles at ball.
And and he did he was totally completely fearless in pretty deep too in his analysis.
-- of politics he's not a shallow person at all.
He's a great performer but he was much deeper than that and in very very Smart and had fought through.
His ideas not that interested in electoral politics he was not you know some election analysts tight.
-- been I will confess over the years but but really interested in how.
Ideas shape the culture and in new a lot of that also -- great music aficionado one of the eighties music not very good music and a lot about it that's.
