We'll be watching the possibility of tornadoes but Fox News is also -- election headquarters and right now it's the final stop before Super Tuesday.
Washington State holds caucuses tomorrow.
The state allows any registered voter to participate.
Recent indications point to another showdown between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum for the top spot.
And today there's a new poll out from the Bellwether state of Ohio.
Ohio is arguably the most coveted of all ten Super Tuesday contest.
Contests.
Quinnipiac poll shows Rick Santorum with a slight lead over Mitt Romney but you factor in the margin of error for this poll.
And it's virtually a dead heat 3531.
The real clear politics average of all the polls in Ohio shows Santorum ahead by -- wider margin.
Let's talk about a -- Bob Cusack the managing editor of the hill we talked about this yesterday with another guest bomb but why is Ohio considered such a critical state.
Well -- has the second most delegates.
Compared to the other Super Tuesday states and obviously.
It's a battle -- state if Republicans are gonna when the White House are gonna have to win.
Ohio so that's a big prize but I think.
All in all Santorum -- needs.
A win tomorrow needs to grabbed the momentum he lost some by losing those two states this week so very important day for Santorum he needs to change the equation.
Going into Super Tuesday.
And Ohio has a pretty good record of picking the person who will eventually.
Go -- to be president.
-- -- Santorum did well surprisingly well in Michigan but Mitt Romney did hold out for the victory there and the indications aren't day.
That Santorum is a surge has been somewhat -- of late.
It has sent a lot of people is rising as we talk more about economic issues because he's been document social conservative issues and -- -- conservatives.
Clearly favor him but I think when you look at Super Tuesday.
Who is gonna do better Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum because equation for this race try to Mitt Romney being a front runner probably won't change until one of them is out of the race now.
Santorum looks pretty good in some states whether it's Oklahoma.
Vermont also in Virginia where Santorum and Gingrich are not even on the ballot so it's gonna come down to who has the most wins and if Santorum can win.
Three or four states and Gingrich only with -- one that there would be pressure on Gingrich set to drop out and make this -- more of a one on one matchup of course though Ron Paul is going to be in this race for a long time.
No but what about the overall effect of Super Tuesday sometimes it's one of those days where the eventual winner.
Is determined and everybody else pretty much heads to the exits and -- is that a possibility.
It it is a possibility.
I think only for for Romney but but if you look at the polls in the Super Tuesday states it's going to be difficult for him tip.
To -- certainly that's probably not gonna happen.
Because he's had some trouble in the southern states -- so I think if he were to win seven.
Eight of the ten then you could say well this race is effectively over.
I think he could be the winner on Super Tuesday but but getting the seven or eight states is going to be difficult.
Iran is courses held by the fact that they Gingrich and Santorum are gonna split.
Votes and and clearly I think Romney is going to be the favorite going in but whether he comes out his favorite.
Out of that race I mean if he is a disappointing night only wins three states and Santorum wins 45 this whole thing to change again.
Bob Cusack and managing editor of the hill watching politics for us and -- us Bob thank you.
