-- played -- with your fox -- take this week Microsoft gave the press and others a chance to see their brand new windows eight operating system.

It's unlike anything they've ever done before I -- give you a sneak peek let's take a look.

A windows eight is all about the touch experience the things you used to do with a mouse and keyboard you can -- -- with your finger but of course you still have access to the keyboard and mouse.

As I do with this Samsung tablet here.

You can switch between apps organize your start screen however you want very similar to Windows Phone.

I could drag these tiles around on the screen to pick and choose what my home screen looks like.

Again with fiscal danceable information I can see what the weather looks like without having -- -- the application.

I can see what people are posting on FaceBook and Twitter.

By just looking in glancing to see if my wife posted an interest in picture on Twitter I can see that right here.

I don't need to launch the -- Microsoft also has a thing called sky drive which is great and allows you to keep all of your mail in one place.

-- drive is all about cloud storage you can access your photos and documents.

From anywhere on the device regardless of which windows -- desktop machine or on.

Microsoft has also rolled out something interest -- called the store.

-- a unique name actually issued by -- all curing -- for windows eight PCs.

So it's designed to make it easier to discover apps without getting lost in that experience.

Whether things are really liked about the windows -- experience -- signing for the first time once I sign in it's connected to the clout it pulls all of my information.

Right out of the cloud my desktop background all the personal station that perhaps I've created on another device.

Obviously this is a touch interface and design to be able to sift through it left and right up and down but if you get tired of that you just -- -- use your Bluetooth mouse -- your desktop.

It works great as well using.

The point and click method that we've all come to use over the past twenty years.

I can navigate the operating system much the same way click on an -- that I want.

And also go down here -- the corners and able to see other apps that are currently open so I have my whether apple but I can click right on it and take into that whether.

Perhaps my biggest complaint or perhaps my most confusion about windows eight comes from Microsoft's decision to keep.

Basically a Windows 7 desktop interface built into this operating system what do I mean we'll take a look at the screen at this beautiful new operating system.

But down here I go to the desktop.

And it.

Looks like -- set it looks like the traditional windows set.

Why -- feel like Microsoft is trying to keep one foot in one camp one foot in the other camp maybe they think perhaps it's it's too radical for people to handle to wrap their minds around.

Having an interface that looks nothing like traditional windows so again this is a really really early beta of windows -- I am really impressed I've enjoyed playing with it.
