I understand at least ever read or heard that you are not wild about the media focusing on social issues first -- that right secondly if -- -- right tell me your thoughts.

Well you know.

I think our main issues that help comments and certainly Americans are concerned about is jobs economy debt deficit.

American energy certainly about the high gasoline prices national security special all things going on he -- and around the world and we seem to get distracted by some of the questioning by some the national media some of the the -- -- -- hand on some of the social issues and certainly.

We we want our Republican nominee to be conservative on the social issues but.

I think the American people are concerned about their jobs and a -- -- dead and about the future for our children.

And many times say aren't allowed to talk about those issues as a core issues because people tried to distract him -- -- things.

Are there any other -- numbers -- the big -- -- national security the economy things like that the debt.

How about things like the keystone project is that an issue in your state.

Well energy is certainly a big issue for our nation because it.

As a matter of national security economic security it's a matter of jobs as a matter producing American made energy.

And certainly in Oklahoma we're seeing a resurgence.

Energy -- Renaissance of energy in Oklahoma has one of that lowest unemployment rates in the nation double digit revenue growth.

For -- say we're creating jobs in Oklahoma it is because we're producing energy jobs are also.

-- in -- -- business climate by not raising taxes by balancing our budget focusing on core issues that are important to the state and that's what we want it present today.

To focus on how we can grow our economy great the -- business climate not be raising taxes on certainly on -- individuals or businesses and.

Had you -- I imagine that you haven't endorsed any of the governor and dad grew every -- -- -- doesn't.

I'm curious how much your being courted to get phone calls every day or once a week get offered copier while we sit down and -- What so what kind of court in -- getting.

Well I have had the -- I have had phone calls from other governors and other elected officials even.

Some former cabinet secretaries advocated for certain candidates -- and we certainly had.

Given all the candidates a warm reception -- with the Republican Party -- south and center on -- crowds there's a lot of curiosity.

And they -- oklahomans want to know where the candidates stand on all the issues and I think they're very anxious to be able to.

Get to that Republican nominee so that we can go on and hit a conservative in the White House.

Governor thank you we'll be watching Tuesday big day -- state and many others thank you governor.
