Land of the free.

Raised in the woods so he knew every tree and it killed himself a bear when he was only three.

David David -- over that that's out.

So away we came in today I looked out the window -- it obviously the leaves are off the trees but.

But there's a Green out there and and I said this is the greatest state in the land of the free.

With very good people who have very good values.

That the governor mentioned something about what it was like growing up.

Went out when we all -- confident that the future was brighter than the past.

I think -- win Georgia by a much much bigger margin -- Romney won Michigan.

We're gonna go on were competing in Tennessee and Ohio and Oklahoma number other states will pick up delegates in a number of places.

Then I think the following week we're gonna win Alabama and Mississippi and we're going to be very competitive in Kansas this is gonna go on for a good while governor Romney.

Have -- outspent all the rest of us buy multiples.

Is a front runner without any question but I think he's not a very convincing front runner and he's a long way from having closed out this race -- it.

This is a game to -- And -- anybody.

All of these races -- either first or second most.

Most of the states out there.

This week -- They they -- that a woman couldn't get on the airplane because she had a breast pump was breastfeeding your baby.

And they made -- demonstrate this in order for her to -- again on -- Was sampling of the sound out on the campaign trail as the -- Republican contenders role in the Super Tuesday and this is power play and Internet there you heard Mitt Romney getting in touch with his hillbilly roots.

Down in east Tennessee in Knoxville.

Talking about Davy Crockett Newt Gingrich on this week.

You heard Rick Santorum campaigning in Oklahoma.

Saying silver medals are okay.

And Ron -- who thinks the TSA should be less concerned with the habits of nursing mothers -- believe it or not Fairbanks Alaska.

And now believe it or not Internet Fred Barnes who's a senior writer for the weekly standard and one of the wise -- of political journalism.

As graciously agreed to come back and see us brother -- you having a good day I am and I always -- a graciously agree.

And whenever you invite viewers you are so kind.

So the question here is there's a lot of new polling data.

Today that suggests that Mitt Romney is.

Getting what he has not had.

Yet in this cycle which is a real surge you see in the national poll out today from Wall Street Journal and and NBC news brought -- up ten points from last month.

And then in the quinnipiac poll in Ohio new polling in Tennessee and Oklahoma that Romney is as timed a surge well ahead of ten states voting.

With 419 delegates on the line.

Can you put this away tomorrow.

He can come pretty close he'd have to win both Ohio and Tennessee.

Ohio being more important if he wins there -- would it won't leave much in the Republican presidential race for Rick Santorum if he wins in Tennessee it will show more -- to his whole campaign you know we won in Washington on Saturday and of course he's won in new England and he's won in the upper midwest in Michigan and so on so we get -- Arizona in the southwest.

If he wins Tennessee a very Republican state Alabama I think it shows a lot because we don't think this will be on Koppel for states we know he's gonna win Vermont Massachusetts.

Idaho in Virginia so -- -- that would be six out of ten.

And you mention Oklahoma where Rick Santorum is pretty strong but again the -- that the momentum is with.

You'll probably.

If he wins something like six states or seven that would -- -- would finish it -- but the two big ones are Ohio the beating Santorum.

Ed and Tennessee -- -- or Gingrich and what.

Love and basically the way I look at it is Ohio plus one southern state yet.

Other than Virginia so he can do Oklahoma which is good but nominally especially the Easter on the told society the state is.

Acts like -- southern -- -- you can win certainly Tennessee.

Not only -- a lot of delegates but it's a nice -- for Santorum the situation is all different.

Because if he can't win in Ohio where he's not qualified for all the delegates but still could get.

The fifteen.

Winner take all statewide.

Delegates that are available out of the State's pool of 66 I think.

He could still get all those delegates.

If he doesn't win in Ohio which is theoretically the most favorable kind of ground for him.

Open primary open to Reagan Democrats.

A big labor contingent in the state borders his old old congressional district in Western Pennsylvania borders the statements -- Represented that for sixteen years for Santorum how important is it to me and -- -- -- just let everything his situation has already dire nuns and it would be whatever is so worse than -- -- -- Ohio even if he wins Oklahoma so.

And Romney is ahead you know people civilian mentioned that quinnipiac poll I think -- PPP polling shows.

Probably got ahead in double digits in Ohio or about ten points.

So.

It's gonna take.

An unexpectedly that.

At this point strong showing in Ohio by Santorum but if he does win in Ohio.

It will really rejuvenate his campaign ends and once again.

Prevent.

Romney from being inevitable.

Now we know interestingly and we're gonna talk today the Internet I should I don't miss in telling -- we're gonna talk today about president Obama's recent.

Uptick in the polls how that's affecting the Republican race Mark -- will be here and later on today we're gonna talk.

To FCC commissioner Robert McDowell who's just back from trip to Europe.

-- where he was fighting against and warning of what he says.

Is United Nations takeover could be United Nations taking over a view Internet so he will be here he will be talking about that -- like all of those things and and we'll get to that.

We'll also get your comments here in the chat.

War.

Just we should point out that if you were to follow me on Twitter at cease -- -- you could tell me what you think about what's going on.

And for example -- -- -- says the Mitt Romney empire has now hit the West Coast.

How much more important is Tennessee we're real clear politics -- -- -- -- three ways which is what we're just talking about we're gonna talk some more about that.

Tennessee is very important in in the scope of the Republican process right because not only is it a southern state.

But it has its sort of three states -- -- you have an apple action pieces you have a sort of that's the -- -- that did trends towards the moderate.

And then you have the western part around Memphis which is hotbed of religious conservatism.

A place for Mike Huckabee did very well the Republicans -- -- -- there are predominantly.

Socially conservative Republicans.

Tennessee.

Santorum was ahead before is this is state where Gingrich can as.

Judy -- -- points out.

Where Gingrich with strength maybe on the part of the state by Chattanooga borders Georgia.

Can he steal this can he can he let -- sneak through.

You know I.

And I say in all situations like this go with the guy with momentum.

Even if -- -- four points behind the leading up to Election Day.

It's likely to carry -- and that's wrong.

It's not Gingrich also remember about Tennessee it is become nationally such a Republican state.

It's one that you'd like to do well in it and then just lock it up for the campaign in the -- In the general election you know to -- doesn't Republican governor and Republican legislature and the whole bunch of Republicans in the house representatives into -- No Republican senators and this is a -- done that -- Gingrich wins that you say will be dealing with stake in the south.

I think he's gonna win there using -- he's gonna whether gamers get when you know I think Romney yeah he's got the -- While I was talking to some some knowledgeable folks down you know about this stuff.

The big county income in Tennessee for Republicans to big -- what is -- counting write in -- a lot of Republicans there and then the other big one of course -- Shelby county where Memphis is and that Santorum looks good.

In Memphis but -- looks good in these so we could.

-- that we could have been nice battle Royale going on for these suburbs.

Not.

Music city.

And four Murphy's for a okay.

Let's take a break Internet we're getting to -- dirty even for you -- I'm taking it too far down the path.

-- I should tell you that tomorrow we're gonna have back on the big board.

And I'm gonna break down all the Super Tuesday for you during a special one -- power play tomorrow which will be super awesome will be in New York it'll be great.
