Today is is the first step from what I hope is is both sides learning to put aside their differences.

And -- and come together where we cam and defending you.

Theme of this bill be came on the policy underneath -- -- is to help small businesses.

And you know -- we're going to be building on this because and a couple weeks we're gonna come forward with a bill -- provides for a small business tax cut.

That was house majority leader Eric Cantor a Republican from Virginia touting the passage of the jumpstart our business startups.

Bill on special report with Bret -- that is a bipartisan piece of legislation.

That house Republicans say is evidence of their effort.

To work together with the Democrats to put Americans back to work.

And this is power play welcome back Internet.

And you heard.

A different tune.

Last night when you -- the majority leader was on with Bret -- basically -- -- bipartisan and we love jobs and putting people back together.

So let's talk about what's gonna happen how it's gonna affect the elections -- -- With us still and then rich -- the pride of Jersey.

Joins us still -- joins us now.

So here's the deal rich the president is campaigning in Virginia today another swing state and he's down -- talking about.

He has the jobs plan and why won't Republicans help him put Americans back to work.

Other Republicans are saying we have a jobs plan while Democrats help us put them back work but we did see in this house plant some Democrat votes is the reason that -- got Democrat votes is because it's like small and it's not it's not that.

Herschel there is the corner of the president's jobs proposal when you've got some common ground and that has to deal with regulatory streamlining cutting taxes for small businesses these issues and everybody seems to be able to get around.

And that's why you've had this bipartisan sport it's amazing the president of the White House -- come out and support this proposal and still -- majority Democrats in the house.

Who have voted against this so it's it's amazing that even an area where you think you have common ground in congress.

You don't have as much -- things she has.

-- report out today essentially a status quo.

Job enough jobs were created to keep under the unemployment level where it is.

The labor force continues to shrink.

That helps keep the jobs number where it is that's another advantage the president has in keeping that it's a point three and everything that was 308 point three.

So.

When we look at the jobs picture.

Democrats are starting to be very enthusiastic they say 263000.

Jobs.

We're getting it done Debbie Wasserman Schultz is all over the Internet yelling at people to start -- Democrats.

Four Republicans now if this narrative does take -- that the economy you know that that we're not losing jobs are gaining jobs even if it's not enough we're going the right direction at a certain point does this start to Wear down Republican opposition.

It could -- the problem is if you look at polling over the Gallup poll a little bit over a week ago and while people are more optimistic about the state of the economy -- not -- credited President Obama.

For those results so that it until people unless and until people make that connection say it's a result of his policies that we're now seeing this.

If it.

Will hurt the republicans' ability to make arguments against him but it doesn't necessarily.

Put a lot of we needed to back President Obama saying look I did this.

But god never rigid un on this good question.

Whether the economy is really getting better -- really not getting better.

There are more signs in the yet in the plus column now than there were a year ago.

But there's still a lot of minus -- there's still a lot of disconcerting things.

And -- you talk to economists when you talk to people who know a lot of stuff.

What do they think it how real is the chance.

That this -- again because we -- two years in a row that the president was excited in the first quarter hey this is -- -- be okay we're going the right direction and then something happens and it goes against -- summer of recovery turns into groups that's sad trombone analysts all right.

And and I could do that -- but -- -- yeah.

See that's city after the show this -- trying to -- the -- price is right you lost a showcase showdown at the bottom of my.

On the chances that we hear that trombone sound there is a lot lurking on the horizon could very easily set us back we are now.

This is a very good jobs report and we had a series of decent jobs reports we are now a little bit above about where we need to be.

-- you actually be gained.

Realistically bringing the unemployment rate of this great jobs accord if you don't have seven million people losing their -- on the but we're just treading water plus is how I would put this this is as solid just -- there's good indications here however.

Europe is a problem -- who cares -- -- -- back or not.

And while the damage may be contained it.

Four US banks right.

Manufacture he's doing very well on our economy that's because we're selling a lot of stuff to Europe right -- there are actually there are largest trading for absolutely in -- day go into recession EU.

We do similar stuff too so that's problem gas prices that's probably the witch and and Iran which ties in all of this that's also -- problem so there are these problems.

That exists and could really send our economy back much further than we are right now.

Hey everything's great but it's a month -- -- situation.

And I just -- bunch of -- she's before I came in here to carry gold this is -- I put in my life today that so that I got that writing on whatever happens in Europe so you don't need to tell me rich and -- they don't need to tell me that you are important I appreciate what is -- from -- -- exactly get corned -- and beverages if I could put up.

You could just by Wisconsin -- Who boom well I think what extent Steelers win the Super Bowl next and the Steelers win the Super Bowl I'll think about that different out of -- -- he's right about.

He's right about many things he's wrong about that Internet he's right about many things he's wrong about that Steve Hayes thank you so much rich -- thanks for common and the Internet loves you to do.
