All right let's get to the hit -- now.
Mike Baker former CIA operative missing in action bill -- Former FBI agent missing in action moon walk on -- happened to them the only man who knows -- Tom Ruskin.
Former NYPD detective presidency and be good.
And good to see and welcome we're good to see Tom and I guess -- and I'm telling us about the whereabouts are obviously up to something boom we we know areas.
We know who survive survivor island community yes yeah exactly -- -- -- them all.
To correct the idea being drunks the FBI and the C -- -- talk.
We have broke the story folks he's dot com broke the story yesterday of this hacking group lol -- Brought down by a it's a moon leaders some 28 year old guy it was right here is sitting right he's not going to be the first ever turned State's evidence.
As you know is a federal prosecutor.
You bring them live -- did you tell them you're charging that would 1012.
Counts of any crime in federal court and they may do the rest it.
Life at 28 years old in jail they start talking and they start talking a lot.
And they start cooperating they start wearing wires and that's what looks like happened here.
So India in something like this ball -- what's the deal he he gets out of prosecutors as he is he.
It did and is there a general standard that he's let off Scot free providing details and everything or could he still did not know who probably still be content they're probably just do less talking -- probably you know the probably knock down the number of charges that they're gonna bring against him and you know because they're they're not done you know this is -- a one shot deal do you.
You you're stretches six this -- -- -- people.
Is not the end that this change the easy changes they say -- police work.
What they'll do is still -- judge based on his level of cooperation.
A five K one letter in federal terms what that means is the level of cooperation the federal government the prosecutors.
Then give to the judge and let's say for arguments sake based on the federal sentencing guidelines.
He was facing twenty years the five K one me bring it down to 234.
Years and maybe some time off for good behavior after.
Are you are too.
In jail that more people he brings down the more people he was led.
To cooperate with and depending on his level cooperation in court thereafter.
Will judge the five K one -- doing do we know anything about the way that these groups.
Connected if the troll I'm thinking it would go a little sick oversee one of the big hacking groups anonymous another one that -- a lot of right.
Could this guy have information about anonymous or an and I don't know that we know -- for don't know for a fact.
But -- -- or up to they operate so separately these kind of groups or in that community does everybody know everything.
I think -- -- when you're leading a group like his group you would know people who.
Cross and this is not like you're just part of that -- -- you may work for anonymous you may work for less set.
You may work for a bunch other groups there is an underground culture.
That probably exists in these groups that lead.
Yeah we tell them they're they're clubs -- -- you don't really work for in the sense that you're definitely paid -- the united -- they don't control a 100% of what you're doing and that's completely contradict the culture that anybody would control of percent of what you do that's kind of the whole point.
Is that there's no central authority right so -- There were famous celebrities.
In in in this world and then yes -- a deeper level.
People -- -- the celebrities -- and -- know -- you know I don't work with them but axis of famous guy wise and things guys he is a famous guy.
So I think the defense may get of really good.
Those groups but even more importantly I think they might get a really good insight into some of the foreign.
Terrorist groups that are interested in this area for for the foreign.
Cyber crime groups which are huge especially in Eastern Europe.
There are connections all the way through this world and I I think they'll be able to get a better handle on what's going on and is likely.
Mean even more so into week two weeks -- our government is very interest in Europe you -- UK.
-- government is very interest in WikiLeaks we know that some of the information that was stolen by -- And his growth led to we can we.
Now the anonymous is no retaliated.
On behalf it says -- say.
I'm taking -- taking -- a bunch of security website things anonymous nicely done.
I'm not gonna take down my twit guy he's got that's okay you're doing anybody I don't know and but.
You know how important is it.
To defense to go off to these guys in in the bigger picture of -- -- doing and the threat that they pose the ball mentions you know -- detect possible terrorist links.
This is an important crime fighting.
-- -- -- -- -- -- Not -- is an important crime fighting.
But it's very important as Bob alluded to to terrorism and if they can bring down in infrastructure can you imagine if they could didn't bring down the northeast -- brought down by the mean going out he had Con -- -- going out years ago that they can bring that down.
The terroristic acts that they could do to a country like being able to hack into the infrastructure issues.
It's incredible -- and could bring this country -- the financial institution.
The -- you'll know it's very very important yeah this cyber crime and cyber security issue is.
I mean frankly I think is radically more important people -- the -- nobody understands how important it is or help vulnerable.
Our infrastructure is because it's private and you know it's a bunch of random private companies -- -- this and -- that and the other thing they have no incentive to spend money.
Here you know they're trying to -- for profit short term profit oriented they're not spending the necessary money -- protecting their infrastructure.
And they're sitting duck targets and this this is a good topic for a whole show as far as I'm concerned because scares me to death.
But I think what's important here is to understand.
How these groups are operating and to -- in my building it's important to bring these guys stand because frankly.
What -- done so far it's pretty minor stuff I mean who really cares the real value here is being able to surveil certain people understand the techniques.
You know get under is definitely get -- they're very complex mirroring techniques for you send out a virus and goes here -- off night.
Yeah how do you Trace that backwards -- stuff is really coming up it's much more important is an intelligence gathering thing in a law enforcement.
Think we -- -- that the US government.
May have hacked into -- radiance.
Computer system and may have been able to monitor.
The centrifuges and bring them to a -- without the even the operators knowing that the centrifuges.
Or coming pool -- and -- at that level of how acting.
The knowledge that these people who also give -- to the government workers and Isaiah.
Does this guy this little -- guy does he walk at a prison in.
A couple years' time of one person is and kept some huge contract to advise the US and obvious question is probably yes and in the meantime let me show you working with the government -- teach them.
Right how he has absolutely that's an important part of apprehending these guys getting the new look on our side there -- that's not a joke at all I mean it's it's very important thing to understand the CIA absolutely goes after some of the best -- -- recruit them to help of course that -- it has to happen -- All right.
Okay -- stick around we have the queen of the Fox Business that would Gerri Willis coming up next Tom Ruskin former NYPD detective presidency and decrypt.
Thank you so much -- to -- that those other guys they are you guys so much model wasn't the easy you'll read it like it's clear there's always better.
I'll probably never be seen again Tom Ruskin thank you so much.
