Well for our guests and now that is just conceded -- Mike got cued up ready to talk to you Syria's Kevin.

McCullough to this right you did great excellent wonderful news and nationally syndicated talk show host and columnist fox contributor.

Author of article that just came out on town -- dot com.

Fresh off the press' Sunday just starting to circulate and of course people are talking all about.

The nasty things being said about women in the media and asking why isn't double standard.

Let's talk about some of the examples.

Why you -- This -- -- you head to head rush that went after senator fluke you know pretty intensely I talked with my own sons and said this these are unacceptable words to describe one.

But the left specifically in the administration.

Sent.

David Axelrod to go appear on Bill Maher show.

Bill Maher has called surveilling the C word.

He's use the T word to describe both Palin and Michelle Bachman and in times past and Gloria Steinem.

Kind of think the the queen of all that is feminism was on set when he used the word it's so it's one of those things -- you're going.

-- wait a second.

President Obama specifically said.

I called -- flu because I want Sasha and Malia and to be able follow in her footsteps and speak out on issues that they feel are important.

And so he criticized rush was in favor of the boycott against his advertisers -- But he's sending David Axelrod his campaign -- former senior White House advisors to appear on Bill Maher show.

And no not a mention of one ounce of criticism it's it's a big double standard and -- needs to be.

How how can it be how what should happen what do you think.

Should be the cure for this well I think that we've got I think we've -- her -- little bit the two.

Just -- -- -- -- I think that the general understanding.

How men and women should be treating each other in today's society needs to undergo some some changes in one of the arguments -- made in my book that came out in 2008 was.

We need to understand that men and women fundamentally -- different.

But we are still equal whereas I think the sixties feminists were more about trying to make the genders -- So I think we've each got.

Strengths we bring to the table.

But respects should always be the underlying -- -- everything.

Right and you know when you hear these comments in the things that have been -- and thrown around around women lately the name calling.

Which is so.

It's great schoolyard.

And a lot of respect.

But if I use the words that Bill Maher used an eighth grade.

I would have been suspended -- -- school after saying that stuff absolutely you would pats opened around he would have been in trouble.

It would have been a much bigger incidents and it probably is today.

But when we talk about the the names being used toward women and the comments that Megan McCain.

Whose breasts weight and appearance have been criticized.

By commentators we don't hear anybody -- -- on the male appearance in -- beautiful picture of Megan.

You know the things that we see from some male talk show host.

The thinning hair pasty skin.

You know double -- and again nasty -- -- Other describing me I'm tired of it already there's you know there's all these things that you could say.

If you were mean spirited about about -- as well that you don't hear that why is -- that were always hearing about the appearance of women.

I think part of it is because our culture.

Shall only values women more for what they look like that we -- meant.

-- -- long time payment where where where in the TV business right here you know ground there.

There's a certain thing to be said about people that don't have as much -- getting as much air time it's it's just a fact of life.

I've wandered into the to the makeup -- some times -- -- case.

Putting in -- -- just to try to keep that youthful appearance a little bit longer it's it's that it's a symptom of our culture right and the problem is is that there isn't inconsistency.

With saying appearance is as valuable as substance and I think that.

For the sake of the selection for the sake of our culture for the sake of our future we've got to get back to saying you know what it's really ideas and character -- -- more than.

The parents.

An -- one of the things we talked about in your article on town hall dot com which we wanna encourage people to check out.

-- talking about this double standard when discussing liberal conservative -- and -- you know obviously I mean a question would be does the media focus on the wrong things when it comes to women issues and expose the answer.

Is yes insisting.

And being you know my wife and a lot of her friends were actually irritated that -- apologized to Sandra -- -- and the reason was is that they were more upset that a young woman would go to congressional committee and asking them to pay for her birth control.

Then they were.

About his response to that.

Coming up very we've lost kind of the dignity of keeping our private stuff private room and when we go to ask taxpayers to pay for.

Our sex habits that's pretty much.

That the basic bottom line of what's what my wife and her friends are or where the most.

Upset about -- -- you know there's a time when we didn't discuss these things publicly specifically in public congressional hearings.

And -- you know it's interesting that you bring up and it's so great to hear the perspective of you know of the people that you talk to you -- I think your children and and your colleagues.

Any other you know what about the other women in your circle of you know the people that you work with and is this kind of the -- what your wife has said is that sort of the thing that you're hearing.

Get well it actually ended up being a whole dinner party at our house because we have some friends over we're talking about other things and then.

Somehow that this conversation morphed into this and I was I was actually taken back I was so surprised now -- how they were all kind of unanimously saying.

We're missing the point here.

There was a day in which we didn't we didn't announce to the world.

I didn't need some birth control and even -- -- knows in her heart that she was being dishonest or three Planned Parenthood clinics within ten minute walk of the Georgetown campus.

Those clinics offer birth control with five dollars a month.

It's something that she didn't need congress itself.

Right real quick we would you have to wrap up but I want to bring in that this topic is bringing us a lot of comments nice people wanting to ask you question.

And again Kevin Collins so -- you a question coming from.

-- -- -- And you well in USA I don't know what town she's from but -- she writes that's a great country though it is -- -- -- fantastic and we do hear from all all countries.

This issue doesn't just apply to women the left is for women's rights minorities and the like until those people disagree with liberal views.

Then they become target.

It's it's true and and I think Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann and others would testify that.

They're not treated as fully women and females and equals in the eyes of the medium left all right well thank you so much for being here today and talking about -- remember go to to.

Don't -- dot com.

To read this article can people find you on Twitter -- they have so we can Twitter handles -- -- radio and on FaceBook dot com slash PMCs -- one.

Excellent very get well thanks for being here with us today and talking about this important subject that continues to get a lot of airplane for good reason.
