Today -- more than a hundred American cities there will be marches to protest the health care law specifically.

They want to challenge the controversial mandate that requires employers health care plans to include free birth control.

Ever -- there was yeah.

For the pro life action league of one of the groups organizing one of the rallies today in Eric.

Good morning to you I'll tell me is decidedly about why are you involved it.

Well you know when the -- mandate was handed down back in January.

We were just astonished.

All across the country people of faith.

People in the pro life -- C the federal government calling preventive care for these devices which.

Stop or even and pregnancy because the mandate includes abortion inducing drugs to consider pregnancy to be kind of disease or fertility to be a medical condition.

Really seem to be an attack on the sanctity of life.

Worse yet -- -- just mandate requires religious employers to provide these services these.

It's contraception sterilization abortion inducing drugs.

Even when it violates the deeply held long held moral convictions against these things -- -- your pro life clear -- your pro life right.

That's right one executive director of the national -- -- organization where are you Catholic also.

I am Catholic OK because the church is even now -- -- several months down the road they're still talking about this from.

From the Alter what what is the impact of that beautifully.

Well I think that the church recognizes.

Not only -- Catholic Church but.

But all people of faith we have Protestants and Jews joining us today to an even an atheist group is coming out and support.

Of this protest.

Because we recognize.

The Barack Obama administration is trying to define for religious institutions what they're ministry will be.

You see there's an exemption to the -- mandate runs so narrowly that it excludes.

Feeding the poor.

Educating the young.

Sheltering the homeless all of these activities which have always been recognized to belong within the sphere of religious ministry are considered religious and off.

For Barack Obama to grant the religious well you know this is an onslaught -- -- some people comparing these marches today to the Tea Party movement.

You think that's accurate.

Well the Tea Party movement in the stand up for religious freedom rally share a common heritage that goes back centuries in our land where.

People will go out into the public square to voice their concerns and opinions.

We don't emerge from the Tea Party movement even if there -- some parity but.

You know.

We also share with other movements of social justice but but as I was a -- lateral movement you know how big Tea Party movement became an asthma and the change their exact and Washington.

What is your expectation for your -- that.

We are pushing back against the HHS mandate it's requirement that religious people violate their consciences.

And out what I want to see come out of this is for us to reset the debate.

To blow away all the smoke and mirrors that come from the Obama administration about this -- their fake accommodation it's still requires.

This violation of conscience and to see a new discussion our country and to show how very widespread and growing.

Opposition is to be HHS country that you -- what would you expect the president to redefine yet again.

This particular part of the mandate.

You know President Obama every few weeks seems to come out with some new shell game and I'm sorry to see that it's time for the president to admit that he's made a mistake.

That he is violating our cherished.

We're -- the religious freedom.

Violating the First Amendment to try to dictate to religious institutions what -- ministry is what counts -- religion.

And to completely rescind the teachers and I worry about this scene wasted Utica are bound to see -- -- the marches today have an impact on that or not and we'll see whether or not a lot of people turn out for you today will watch the numbers on the streets ever Shah either thank you for your time.
