Obviously though there are some serious -- behind the books and the film including the role of big government and the power of the media.
Jim Pinkerton writes on foxnews.com.
Yes the film also has some conventional elements including -- triangle.
But what's most startling about this movie is the overt political message ordinary folks are good.
Government is bad really bad and there are no evil corporations in this film that bad guys are bureaucrats.
And TV host.
Present company.
Course from Mac again didn't -- ASEAN can -- it says now called the young adult book jam but.

Well the bullseye is a government that is so.
Cool and vicious that it -- young people to be murdered.
In a televised.
Gladiator style.
Ritual combat look I admit I'm older than the young adult target demographic although as I wrote the piece -- -- my friends and a lot of them would say I act actually.
I did read these books because there -- there like Harry Potter.
They're really well written and -- audiences of all ages can enjoy the -- however the movie now.
And Hollywood and -- enough did not change it from when the books are published you know years ago because of that the clear target I would think of the book.
First written back in 2008.
Would have been President Bush and now forty years later he has a new president and the basic message of anti government libertarian -- them.
And and freedom from a really oppressive -- an ambitious state.
You know they say -- attacked the other doesn't do a lot of interviews Suzanne Collins but she did say that she came up with this idea while watching coverage on television.
The Iraq War and flipping the channels and then seeing a reality show in -- wow look at the different experience.
-- young adults in this country.
So she did draw obviously from Rio events you write in your ear piece that you see every rising generations change is the politics -- its predecessors and you go on to say that this might be an indicator now.
I've used sentiment.
App out there you know what do you think that sentiment -- well.
-- rights for example I think that young people have grown up with the Iraq war in the Afghanistan war and and probably here are like most Americans are are pretty tired of it and pretty determined.
Not to have that happen again.
And I think that while they're too big too young to vote now.
And probably maybe don't voter -- stole their twenties when they get older they're gonna take these memories with the memory is.
All of Warners and then.
Giant big government where it again the movie is very clear on this to the ordinary people -- for and the government -- rich and that happens to sort of square with the data you see about how.
-- the rich as it goes in America now.
Are in Washington DC and and so I think those -- the memories -- of rich rich government poor countries stupid stupid wars in blood sacrifice I can't imagine that won't.
Affect future politics in the decades ahead as people say what -- can vote for that anymore whoever tries to give it to us.
No vampires in Bethlehem and it's not like to highlight at Jim we really enjoyed your piece thank you so much his entire piece on a hundred names on the website.
Foxnews.com slash opinion I will say though.
Johnson thing about this that if you go through the next couple books this is just the first installment.
There is a statement as well.
When I was thinking I'd be curious -- viewer's opinion on this about any sort of government.
There's a little rebellion.
Some I -- it's much the way.
But -- if there's an interesting messaging behind you're gonna have to read it I'm ready get the entire creator of read -- I'm all alone I think first I'm gonna have to.
This though it might young adult children.
Plus I'm right there with -- -- PG thirteen I guess there's no pain.
And you know there is this is a warning to parents and it is a tough subject because it is children killing children and everyone's watching as a blood sport.
Wow right right I mean.
