Sex trafficking human trafficking is becoming a growing epidemic in fact.

What's even more disturbing actually -- drug trafficking -- that this involves children it got some 20000 children involved in these despicable crimes they're actually currently at least 47 sex trafficking rings operating in Mexico right now.

And the total number of victims including a 3000 children.

More than 800000.

A year we're talking almost a million.

If the victims.

Dragged across borders and abused many of them murdered in the in the act a human trafficking by the way is roughly a thirty billion dollar a year business in Mexico according to the national -- network.

That represents groups that -- women and children threatened by domestic violence these are some pictures on some of the arrests that were made and and other victims.

So so what is being done about it why are we talking about it it is the United States and get involved will be -- yes in fact congress is getting involved they have.

Received a report on sex trafficking from the attorney general's office all because of a congresswoman who requested that these statistics be brought forward in order to tackle the problem.

Throw zeroes go in particular got involved she's in congress and -- she called on authorities to compile these statistics have been telling you about today.

Sort of as a first step to a comprehensive.

Approach to the problems with the AG's office came forward they they produced these numbers.

And misinformation we'll now go to the special prosecutor for crimes against women and human trafficking.

That's a database now that will be used by prosecutors and law enforcement for the hope here.

It's that they can use -- -- the statistics and at some help pinpoint exactly where exactly this is going on.

How they're getting away with it and it track these despicable human beings that are abusing these innocent civilians.

And worse.

Well so many of the problems that are going on and what's even more discouraging is that when we look at the drug trafficking problem in Mexico what has been done about it I mean we talk about it all the time we've.

We've we've had former presidents talk about you know -- offense we've.

We've we've always been combating this drug trafficking problem.

Where many millions of lives are are are lost because of it as a result but when -- about sex trafficking involving children.

You want a quick solution and as we know -- the drug trafficking problems in Mexico there is no quick solution.

And so this is an ongoing side.
