Chatting with her the Olympic gold medal champion Lindsey -- is joining us.

This morning and we're so glad to talk to you -- thanks for joining us on foxnews.com live.

Thanks for having me now you been all over the place lately I was looking at some of the recent your recent schedule travel schedule where are you today as you talk to us.

Everybody out there knows Lindsey -- she's one of the most famous and decorated Alpine skiers.

In the history of the world in the history of this country you have won more World Cup's.

Than any other American woman skier in history have you not.

That's true that's true and you're so modest.

And I read I read this morning that you first got on a pair of skis at the age of -- Yet what -- so yeah I am memories about about skiing.

My -- so literally is memories are hot chocolate.

These.

I did like the cold when I was little I mean I always had fun you know it I love skiing on my parents -- -- a group that Minnesota -- those -- is small hill.

But it was always very cold so I do remember a lot of hot chocolates and doughnuts with sprinkles on top.

I remember that's it from my early days on the slopes and -- at what point did your family realize.

That you had potential to be something special on skis and and they packed everybody up and you moved out to Colorado right.

Yeah -- islands when I was eleven you know my family decided that it would you know we really needed to go to the mountains and if I wanted to be successful at skiing in you know I'm the oldest of a five kids in my mind.

-- huge family.

And they made a huge sacrifice and and we all of out Colorado -- -- surveillance.

-- where I learned my downhill skills and you know made the team US ski team shortly after that so.

Mean this sacrifice they made was the reason why am -- am today it's I couldn't have done it without their support.

I wanna go over some of your accomplishments here because I really I I could not believe as I was reading it.

You were one of five women skiers do have one World Cup races in all five.

The doubt of the downhill Alpine skiing disciplined so we're talking we got downhill.

We have you probably know -- you don't need me to tell you the super G.

It doesn't rig DD as the blond than super combined in a favorite among those disciplines is there one that's the end that is an that you really -- -- more than any of the others.

Yeah I love -- it's always been my favorite event you know it's the fast this it's the most exciting.

I love going fast then -- I love pushing the limits pushing the envelope.

-- and that means they crash but I still enjoy it and we had just it's such an adrenaline -- it's so exciting.

What do you think about when you're in the downhill race in -- moving well -- -- how fast you're going.

Anywhere -- probably 780 and 85 miles an hour okay so you're going 8085.

Miles an hour on on on a pair of skis what's going through your mind as your as -- rushing down the mountain it.

At that speed.

I -- the pens but.

I -- I don't know I aced me when -- racing -- kind of go on auto pilot you know -- I feel like and you know my job before the race -- the visualize the course and know exactly where I have to go and and whatever raising and just kind of and leading with my -- -- Latin and just went in -- -- down -- -- and transit says to execute you know my lion -- best they can but.

-- -- -- I'm mind kind of knows what I have to do and I just go for it.

You know we're excited about this summer's Olympic Games in London.

You know and I know that your your.

A Winter Olympics girl you -- your sports there are during the winter games and so we look forward to 2014 in.

In Russia.

Which I'm sure you're you're getting excited about but it we have a question from one of someone in our chat room because we encourage our viewers to.

Any predictions for the US olympians in London this coming summer.

So I'm excited I mean I've been hearing a lot about the gymnastics team you know how strong our team is and -- and build I think is doing extremely well in all the sprinters Marion.

Are in good form and so I'm actually gonna go to London and -- some of the events -- going to be there for a couple days so I'm really looking forward to it it's -- my first.

Actually the first woman ever been a spectator at the at any Olympics so -- -- -- -- I think -- tickets at most the track and field events and then a second week so.

I am hoping that they'll still be some -- -- to -- going on because that's.

Going to be the highlight for me -- -- gymnastics but.

Yeah I wanna -- same bolts and yes in the US -- as.

And sprinting out there hopefully the the relay should be excited -- -- and think and willow Jones hopefully is as healthy in gonna get in the hurdles others.

There's a lot of a lot of really fun amends I'm looking forward to.

If you were a summer Olympic athlete.

What sport would you competed.

Tennis tennis.

You're young it's looking at your Twitter handle.

-- Twitter account and it says the year you're -- tennis enthusiast.

And that you -- Red Bull that would at all tonight that I get that.

Yeah I think I think it says huge better fan and loves red -- That is that would never -- I can't I kids I can't make out what's on your your ski cap there.

Yet that the rebel rebel.

I wanna I -- some rebel my my own self so here's a question brought us here for USA as they handle how Long Will Lindsay be taking time off.

Before beginning her summer training and will Lindsay be competing in the US Alpine championship in Winter Park this year.

And yes I will be competing in the diet solemn -- that they US national championships and what -- park next week.

And and then I should be able to get -- -- -- days off.

Amid -- in the -- until the beginning of may but you know I'm kind of just traveling around -- being.

But to events in charities and he -- stuff like talking with a -- so.

It's going to be pretty exciting but definitely need you know -- doesn't need some time off the slopes to you recharge for next season.
