Hello and welcome to justice -- judge -- Piero.
The Republican battle of the by -- gives -- crucial win tonight to Rick Santorum.
Former governor of Arkansas and a host of the hot debate Mike Huckabee joins us this evening good evening governor good to see you judge good to see you was well governor -- -- the Santorum wins so big tonight in Louisiana.
Well it keeps him in the race I mean he had to win tonight he has to show that he's not completely -- -- Mitt Romney's had a great week or so.
Rick santorum's had a tough week Intel boy he's had a very bad week and he needed something to and to keep his campaign with -- little but the plane -- that.
Well you think about the fact is speaking about the bad week I mean he basically said that.
You know voting for Romney is basically the same as voting for Obama and I -- took -- back.
He blamed Bob robbing the Romney camp I mean it made no sense he he said that I think the quote is.
This is just another attempt by the Romney campaign to distort distract the media.
From the unshakable fact that Romney policies -- Barack Obama.
I think what we're seeing is a very very exhausted candidate and I've been a candidate you've been a candidate you know that there comes a point.
After all of these multiple 21 hour days and little bit of sleep in -- just doing interview after interview after interview speech speech speech speech.
And then you say things that it sounds okay when it comes out of your mouth when you go back in spirit he realized ol' boy and the best thing to do is just say you know what that's not what I did.
His job.
I agree with you that would have been the best thing to do but instead every makes a blunder he makes another blogger and and speaking of that ever when you got to the point where you -- things that.
Didn't make sense they pulled off a campaign that -- look you need a rest right.
You know my wife was really good -- saying that was really stupid that you said that she may have been the only person who -- set it as bluntly as she did.
But you need people around you who do tell you you've got to pull aside you've got to take a day off you have to have some time.
Are you refresh and recharge -- batteries well in and and and one of the interesting things about tonight is that voters who say that the economy.
With the most important issue for them in this Louisiana primary.
They preferred Santorum.
To Romney won -- is supposedly this sky.
That's an unusual kind of twist that Louisiana has had that was not true and Illinois it was not true in Michigan it was not true.
In many of the other states people voted for Rick Santorum because they liked him better they thought he -- more genuine.
Or because they were really passionate about issues -- the sanctity of life and and the issues of marriage and some of this value issues.
This was one of the rare times when the Santorum really won with voters who said the economy was the fire first and most important issue.
And in Mitt Romney a look at -- -- to be fair here he didn't spend much time there in Louisiana did not have a lot of money there.
He didn't do well in some of the groups that he traditionally did well with -- but let's look at something here same tour released a new ad in the last couple of days.
To me it's it was it was just a real shocker with let's take a look at this one.
Imagine a small American town two years from now.
He's reelected.
The week to see your doctor easier for -- Gas prices through the roof.
-- freedom of religion.
To Obama fill -- When night -- saw that governor the first thing I thought was.
Fear mongering you know that the gas pump at the head like -- -- the picture look like a baby and and and a cradle all we might have happened.
Well it's a powerful ad in the one thing I will say that I -- a positive.
At least -- the Santorum is not attacking one of the other Republicans and he's putting his focus on Barack Obama.
The biggest problem that I've seen with the Republican primaries the candidates -- savage each other.
There's gonna come a time there's four -- Three of them are gonna have to line up on the convention stage put their arms around the nominee and act like they -- him.
So be real tough to do given all the things that they had said.
And and it's one of those moments be careful what you -- -- -- will come back to haunt you for example Rick Santorum is having to really explain.
-- four years ago not once but on more than one occasion he publicly endorsed Mitt Romney and said he's the authentic conservative he's the true conservative.
Well now you have to ask which time were you being disingenuous for years ago are now.
That's always it's gonna hurt it doesn't seem the best thing came out you know what if Rick Santorum is -- criticizing Romney and I was the Etch -- -- candidate and all that.
I mean how could not thrown a -- anyway I don't know who the F to sketchy or you're told what -- love those.
Or your you know the Romney campaign put it out on the website -- -- -- the Romney campaign I'm not that if -- work.
I'd be running that every time it and whenever there was an attack I just say look -- sure thought we were great for years ago.
And really we haven't changed Mitt Romney hasn't changed in four years so what's different.
-- I'm not sure why they haven't exploited it more just from a pure political standpoint because it it has traction it has great ability to get people's attention.
And you know I is we go the farther and farther we go along in this primary race I think the more I'm really starting to think it's very candidates to you I do.
I've said this for quite some time that when it goes beyond showing you know some level of difference I get that.
But when it becomes an attack on the character the integrity the honor.
The honesty of the other candidate then -- it's troublesome and when it happens over and over.
It goes back to my point they're gonna have to kiss and make up.
And -- I have to rally around the nominee and it makes it very difficult some of the things that you've seen in the primary campaign will be.
Used by the Barack Obama's campaign in ads in October be ready and coming to a theater near you -- June though it makes politics makes strange bedfellows but I want to switch gears really quickly here.
If Obama -- does survived the Supreme Court review.
What does it mean to everyone is out there watching us tonight it means higher insurance premiums less opportunity for them to choose their doctor -- doctors are gonna quit taking a lot of government.
Led health care plans doctors are not taking Medicare and Medicaid don't stop doing even more.
When the Obama plan cuts 500 billion dollars out of Medicare because doctors are gonna provide services for less than it cost them.
To to provide those services they can't it's not a matter of doctors being greedy.
Doctors have to feed their families and have to pay their overhead and their nurses so there's going to be some real dramatic effects but here's what I don't understand if the Democrats.
You know really want to lose this election year and I'm not just talking about the White House but particularly.
Up and down the congressional and senate races.
The best way to do it is to keep going out there and trying to defend obamacare which has been overwhelmingly rejected the the American public -- it'll be very interest and governor to see.
What the United States Supreme Court doesn't -- -- the constitutionality.
Of that but as always governor it's great to have you with IS judge thank -- -- --
